Lower School students danced and sang during a special music assembly in the Multi-Purpose Room on December 3. Jeff Golub, father of Ross students Chris and Matthew, brought his band and introduced them as "Chris & Matthew Golub's Ross School Band." They played many favorites including “Super Freak,” where they changed the words to “Super Teach” and used names of Ross School teachers.
The Assembly Rooms are a major venue in Derby. As with all major modern buildings, it divides opinion. Designed by Casson, Conder and Partners.
I've already posted the photos from the Mills and Chimneys folk project (which was the reason we were in Derby in the first place).

Bristol Archive Records is a record label dealing in Bristol post punk 1977 onwards.
We aim to showcase music from the diverse Bristol Music scene and provide a historical account / document of all things Bristol that should never be forgotten. Many of the artists and releases are rare, unknown or never before released. The material has been lovingly digitally remastered from vinyl, ¼ inch tape, dat or cassette. The original vinyl releases would generally have been limited to runs of 1000 copies or less.
We would like to thank the original label owners and/or the artists for allowing us to share with you their forgotten works and provide a statement of how brilliant bands have always been from the city of Bristol and the surrounding areas.
Enjoy and never forget the talented ones from the past,
they deserve to be recognised & remembered.
The Scorpion Shoulder Assembly is an all-in-one shoulder pad system for an in-line Zacuto DSLR Baseplate kit. It is best used for traditional ENG style shooting with our EVF or a small monitor. It includes a curved silicone gel shoulder pad, adjustable top handle, and rods to connect the entire assembly to the back of your Zacuto DSLR Baseplate as well as rods to add a counterbalance weight, such as our Z-Lite. The curved form-fitting Akton Polymer pad is a unique design built for ultimate comfort. The pad cushions your shoulder and positions a counterbalance low down behind your shoulder to counteract the weight in the front, resulting in a tremendously comfortable rig, perfect for long shoots. The entire assembly can also be articulated in multiple directions thanks to the built in innovative ball joint feature at the front of the pad. Adjusting the angle of the pad is extremely important for individual comfort. Another great feature is the built in top handle. The handle is great for taking your rig on and off of your shoulder, low mode shooting and easy carrying. The handle can be custom positioned up or down into the pad itself with the turn of a lever. The pad assembly connects to the back of the Zacuto DSLR Baseplate via (2) 2” M/F rods. These rods screw into the back of the baseplate and connect to the shoulder pad itself via 15mm quick release ports. This quick release system allows you to quickly switch from handheld to tripod. The shoulder assembly also includes (2) 3.5” M/F rods in the back so you can easily add any 15mm accessory for counterbalance such as our Z-Lite or Zwiss Plate (with a battery plate and pro brick batteries facing away from the pad). The amount of counterbalance you add in the back is determined by the amount of weight you have in front. The Scorpion Shoulder Pad assembly is not recommended for offset rigs like our Double Barrel kit. It is meant to be used for in-line rigs (like the Scorpion) where your eye is positioned in the EVF.
