One of the five famous Assembly Halls Hoi An, Fukien Assembly Hall was erected around 1690 to function as a place for the Chinese ethnic group from Fukien, China to socialize and worship.
Fujian (Phuc Kien) Assembly Hall was built around 1690 and functions as a traditional assembly hall for the Chinese ethnic group from Fujian, China to socialise, but later was transformed into a temple dedicated to their deity named Thien Hau – the goddess of sea who protects sailors from danger. As told by the preceding generations, the Chinese in Hoi An decided to build that temple to worship the statue of the goddess which was found on Hoi An Beach in 1697. Probably the most prominent amongst 5 Assembly Halls in the town, today Fujian Assembly Hall is located in 46 Tran Phu St.

Assembly Hall in Temple Square, Utah’s number one tourist attraction, drawing millions of visitors a year. Temple Square consists of the Salt Lake Temple, the Tabernacle (home of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir), the Assembly Hall and two visitors’ centers.
Once a residential tower on Lambeth Embankment, Core Assembly became part of the propulsion network driving Earth’s evacuation. Sensors still record faint magnetic activity within the structure. Part of my 'Broadcast from the future' project. See more at davidtravisphotography.com/blog/exodus.html
Standing (just) in Cross Green near the junction of the Stowmarket and Brettenham roads. I can find little online information about this building, although, I think it's fair to say, there's not much assembling done here now.

The roof of the Welsh National Assembly building in Cardiff. The building itself is a fantastic mixture of glass, steel, slate and wood.

The building was erected 1769-1771 and designed by John Wood the Younger (who also designed the Royal Crescent in the same town). The house contained several rooms, all with the purpose of entertainment - dancing, playing cards and attending concerts. It was the place where anyone who was anything at all went to meet everybody else. Dances started at six, at 9 there was a break for refreshments in the Tea Room, and then the dance continued on to 11.
This is also the place for important scenes from the novels of Jane Austen - she had two novels partially set in Bath, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion. (It is worth note that at the time she referred to the place as "The Upper rooms" - not to confuse people at the time with the other set of Assembly rooms in town - "The Lower rooms" built some 60 years earlier in a more central (but as time went on less gentile) part of town. When these rooms burnt down in 1820 they were never rebuilt.
The (Upper) Assembly Rooms were damaged by the Baedeker Blitz on April 25 1942, but restored again in 1946-56.
Whew it arrived just in time. I didn't think it was going to get here before the end of the year. I thought it would have been bigger. It is suppose to last the whole 365 days but this looks like it'll only last 52 weeks. But looking at the state this year is ending in there's not really much other option.
Now let's see. Instructions...instructions...where are the...oh here they are. "Clean your 2017 thoroughly so as no cross contamination". Well...bugger that. 2017 is so shite covered I'm just going to put down some newspaper and bin bags and we'll pave over it with the new year and pretend it didn't happen.
Next.
"Prepare the area with Hogmanay". Well that appears to be in full swing. The people on the telly are having some BBC sanctioned fun. They look like they're enjoying themselves but it doesn't seem to have reached their faces yet and the other channels are showing....oooh....American Werewolf in London...aww it's already started. Ah maybe next year,
Next year. That'll be in 23 minutes. Maybe less now. Yes, now it's 22 minutes. That was quick. A little too quick. Makes me wonder if the year really has been a standard however many minutes a year has. Is it 14? More? 14 and a half? Fine, we'll say everything ran as normal.
But I'm keeping my eye on you 2018
