The current campus was purpose-built in 2007 at a cost of some RM200m. At present there are some 4,500 students and 500 staff, with growth projected to lead to over 6,000 students and 600 staff. About one quarter of the student body is international. The campus continues to develop steadily, and now enjoys excellent facilities for world-class education and research. All academic staff members are expected to engage in scholarly research.

These are photos taken on my trip to Europe and the UK with a girl friend in October to November 2012. My camera I had then wasn't good with low light so some of these shots are not great but I have put them as my memories of the trip.

After we left my friend in Summerton we stayed with my friends in Surrey. They took us down to their holiday home in West Wittering where we took some trips around the area.

This is Portsmouth where we spent a few hours walking around the harbour area on a cold windy day in November.

Portsmouth is a port city and naval base on England’s south coast, mostly spread across Portsea Island. It’s known for its maritime heritage and Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. The dockyard is home to the interactive National Museum of the Royal Navy, the wooden warship HMS Victory, where Nelson died in the Battle of Trafalgar, and HMS Warrior 1860. The Tudor ship Mary Rose is also conserved in a dockyard museum.― Google

The Berwick campus is Monash University's newest Australian campus, having been established in 1996. It is situated on a 55-hectare site in the City of Casey, one of the three fastest growing municipalities in Australia. Being a new campus, our students and staff enjoy state-of-the-art facilities.

The new council offices in Melton Mowbray have come under fire from many people. They have been called an eyesore ... a bit of a pun based on the names of two nearby rivers. I went by myself the other day and had a look. Here's a bit of it.

A few photo friends and I headed south to Noblesville today to hang out and take some pictures. We ended up focusing our attention on the courthouse in Noblesville, Indiana. The weather was not exactly perfect photo weather... the wind was blowing and it was pouring the entire time we were out shooting. However, we didn't let the weather stop us and walked all around the courthouse in the heavy rain. This particular shot I took while kneeling in a lovely little stream that had formed in the alley. Keeping my camera dry while keeping my umbrella out of the wide angle shot was definitely one of the challenges I encountered tonight. The challenges only added to the fun as I often find the challenging shoots like tonight often end up being the most fun.
