I always have my camera in my bag. Walking down Oxford st in london i saw this fantastic building down a alley way. I'm not normally a fan of modern arcitecture but i love the fact that this building was tucked away down a quite st and may people possibly don't see it... lucky i did... check it out!

this building...the power station outside the danish town Viborg just turns up and dominates the surroundings.....
This is Viborg power station in Denmark....it is gasfired and produces heat and electricity.
The architects behind the architecture is from the firm Peter Kjelgaard & Thomas Pedersen from Viborg, Denmark and they won the architecture competition.
The form of the building is two shells that is formed like two hands protecting the machines...the building is surrounded by a basin that is mirroring the the light.
The artist Sergej Sviatchenko has given the colours inside of the building and also made artwork for the building.
