It'll look great, once the scaffolding is down !!!
Joking apart, this iconic part of Redhill is about to be removed for a new upwardly mobile entrance to be fitted.
Alright, so I guess most people won't like this picture. I really do.
Why do I like it though? Does it matter?
We were eating ice cream. Or was it just me? But it was really hot and im a sucker for ice cream. And I didn't mean not to have the building in focus. And I actually do have another Picture where the buildings are in fact sharp and clear. In fact the difference is so suddle I nearly accitentally uploaded that one right now. But I prefer having these cars in the bottom and I prefer having it a bit washed out and out of focus. And I really like eating ice cream with you.

Although the arcitecture is allways refered to as mediteranian, this building is one of many that isn't. See how the tree appears to be casting a shadow although there was no sun shinning.
The old bank at the corner of Cherry Street and Villiers Street was built in the 1920s as a Bank of Montreal.
27 Boxes is a new shopping centre currently under construction in 4th Avenue, Melville, Johannesburg. The concept turns shipping containers (the boxes) into retail outlets. It will be interesting to see this project when complete, and whether or not it will be beneficial to the suburb.
This was taken one foggy night in New Orleans on LaFayette St. I just love the brick roads and historic feel from the street lamps and buildings.

When in Philadelphia a few weeks ago for a conference I fell in love with the arcitecture of the Philadelphia city hall, which was quite close to my hotel and conference. I went there one lunch hour specifically looking for a photo like this playing with the multiple layers of arches and columns.
This is also the first photo I've shared on Flickr linking to my own photography web site that I've been slowly building over the past six months. Its something that I started as support to selling some prints. Currently I have only a few prints that are up for sale in the waiting room at Saskatoon Medical Imaging with all proceeds from those print sales being donated to the Red Cross. In December I will also be displaying some prints at Moka coffee bar in Saskatoon. I think this will be one of the prints I put up there.
