There's not many LEGO renditions of this ship on the internet so I thought I'd try my had at one.
I had been working on this for a month or so before I saw Caleb Rick's version on Flickr. It definitely inspired me to re-work a few areas, but I tried to stick with my original vision as much as I could.
This is one of my favourite Star Wars vehicles, it's a shame it's so under-represented in LEGO!
Eye protection, Who needs it --
Certain types of UV radiation can produce an injury to the surface and mucous membrane (conjunctiva) of the eye called "arc eye," "welders' eye" or "arc flash." These names are common names for "conjunctivitis" - an inflammation of the mucous membrane of the front of the eye. The symptoms include:
pain - ranging from a mild feeling of pressure in the eyes to intense pain in severe instances
tearing and reddening of the eye and membranes around the eye (bloodshot)
sensation of "sand in the eye"
abnormal sensitivity to light
inability to look at light sources (photophobia)
The amount of time required to cause these effects depends on several factors such as the intensity of the radiation, the distance from the welding arc, the angle at which the radiation enters the eye, and type of eye protection that the welder or bystander is using. However, exposure to just a few seconds of intense UV light can cause arc eye. These symptoms may not be felt until several hours after exposure.

I came up with this quite by accident. I was trying to fill a circle with one design and this came out.

ARC Amsterdam Lowlanders, the gay and straight friendly rugby team in the Netherlands, dropped their pants and lifted their shirts at impossible hours and places to bring you their 2016 Calendar: The Edge of Amsterdam. The proceeds of the calendar are used to get the entire team, including those who can't afford this, to Nashville, Tennessee in May 2016 to participate in Bingham Cup, the world tournament gay and inclusive rugby.
The calendar costs 15 euro excluding handling and shipment, and can be ordered through:

The Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile is one of the most famous monuments in Paris. It stands in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle, at the western end of the Champs-Élysées.
It was commissioned in 1806 after the victory at Austerlitz by Emperor Napoleon at the peak of his fortunes, however it was only completed some 30 years later in 1836.
The Arc de Triomphe Paris, the most monumental of all triumphal arches, was built between 1806 and 1836. .
The Arc de Triomphe stands at the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle, also known as the "Place de l'Étoile". It’s located at the western end of the Champs-Élysées.
The triumphal arch is in honor of those who fought for France, in particular, those who fought during the Napoleonic Wars.

Traffic on Avenue des Champs-Élysées, Paris, on a bleak winter's day in 1960. One of the city's most popular landmarks – the Arc de Triomphe – is visible in the distance. The print is stamped "Foto Binder, Stuttgart" and dated "13.02.60" on reverse, so the photo was presumably taken by German tourists on a visit to Paris. I discovered this charming vintage photograph at a flea market in Stuttgart.

This was taken on my day trip to Paris a short while back. I would have never imagined how big this monument is until I saw it in real life. The details and carvings are simply beautiful.
The Clyde Arc (known locally as the Squinty Bridge), is a road bridge spanning the River Clyde in Glasgow, in west central Scotland, connecting Finnieston, near the Clyde Auditorium and SECC with Pacific Quay and Glasgow Science Centre in Govan. A prominent feature of the bridge is its innovative curved design and the way that it crosses the river at an angle. The Arc is the first city centre traffic crossing over the river built since the Kingston Bridge was opened to traffic in 1969.
The bridge was named the "Clyde Arc" upon its official opening on 18 September 2006. It has been previously known as the "Finnieston Bridge" or the "Squinty Bridge"

Jeanne d’Arc [ʒanˈdaʁk] (* vermutlich 6. Januar 1412 in Domrémy, Lothringen; † 30.

Mai.
