With a great surprise, I forward this photo from the official homepage of the shrine I always worship.

This photo had been taken at the end of 19th century, was uncovered recently from the warehouse of the shrine and has been released at its website.

The cat in this photo really looks like Kofuyu! He/she must be an ancestor of Kofuyu, and his/her offspring might have been living around the shrine.

...Of course, this is an April fool's small joke. This photo was generated with Bakumatsu Old Photo Generator, a very nice web application for free(original photo).

Enjoy :)

Woke up this morning to snowflakes falling that were the size of golf balls... Luckily it didn't last to long and now it's almost completely gone. I know most of us including me are tired of winter and so want spring to take hold... but there's something about a snowfall that just makes me smile...

Happy Fence Friday!

and have agreat weekend!

Our birthday is on April Fool's Day. Of course we had a few tequila shots.

Today the Scout tool is reporting ALL photos by (whoever you search on) are featured in Explore...

The gang got together for our 1st annual April Fools Somethingoranother. The theme for the night: 'Stache Bash. A few of us grew out our beards for about two months (Casey grew his out for three years), and then we shaved down to the 'stache and had a night on the town--the ATL was none the wiser!

The 'staches are gone by now--and we've paid our respects--but the night will live in McGee infamy.

APRIL FOOL'S DAY in SAN FRANCISCO is celebrated with the annual ST. STUPID's DAY PARADE which starts out at JUSTIN HERMANN PLAZA and winds its way through the Financial District.

Absolute F-U-N !

This year the corporate BAIL-OUT greedy pigs were honored as well as the general STUPIDness of well, anything & everything!

Some highlights are featured here...such as the rally at the SOCK EXCHANGE (Pacific Stock Exchange) where socks were exchanged by being thrown in the air!

The ST STUPID'S DAY PARADE went to CITIBANK, 101 CALIFORNIA...where it was lunch hour and the PARADE shouted to the businesspersons...GO BACK TO WORK!

...and of course, the PARADE would not be complete without a visit to the cold black BANKER'S HEART in front of BANK OF AMERICA where folks tossed pennies at the black marble 'sculpture'.

The faces of the tourists and the businesspersons who didn't have the slightest idea of WHAT THE HELL was going on.

A very ONLY IN SAN FRANCISCO event!

April Fools day came early on Shelby Street...This fountain, which has recently been replaced, is a frequent victim of this prank. Shot in early 2009, shortly before April 1st...

It's been a sneaky day. People sneaking up on me; me sneaking up on other people. Hope you were fooled today in a way that you could laugh about later on :-p LOL.

A shot from our day in Galena, Illinois on April Fools Day, 2017.

IT WAS SUCH A FUN APRIL 1ST at the SAINT STUPID DAY'S PARADE in SAN FRANCISCO. There is no other event in the world where folks gather to HAVE FUN and poke fun at the imbedded horrid capitalist explotation of the world. NO VIOLENCE just FUN...

Everyone came in costume...ADDA came as a REPUBLICAN BURNING IN HELL (which we all know in our deepest of hearts is where all REPUBLICANS and RIGHT WING A-0's will end up) !

Everyone gathered at the EMBARCADERO then proceeded to the WORKERS STATUE...then to the OLD STOCK EXCHANGE for the wonderful spoof...SOCK EXCHANGE...everyone tossing old socks in the air ! A RIOT!

Onward to the BANKER's HEART...the big, black marble rock in front of BANK OF AMERICA...where everyone tossed their loose pennies at the banker's greedy heart!

There was tons of good fun, great signs, good vibes, political statements, and incredible costumes

(BTW...so much more fun, much better and more creative than the WONDERCOM folks who have to rely on someone elses creativity! geesh)
