The parade goes to the SOCK EXCHANGE (Pacific Stock Exchange) where socks were exchanged and thrown in the air!
The ST STUPID'S DAY PARADE then went to 101 CALIFORNIA...where it was lunch hour and the marchers shouted to the businesspersons...GO BACK TO WORK!
...and of course, the PARADE would not be complete without a visit to the cold black BANKER'S HEART in front of BANK OF AMERICA where folks tossed pennies at the black marble 'sculpture'.
OH the faces of the tourists and the businesspersons who didn't have the slightest idea of WHAT THE HELL was going on. Though many, to their credit, got into the fun & smiled, and whipped out their cameras for the copious photo ops.

Today after a hard days work, I came home to find my son enjoying a plate of Oreos. Not being able to resist I stole one from his plate. Popping the whole thing in my mouth I noticed it being minty so I commented and thats when my wife and both my sons burst out laughing and yelling April FOOOOLS. :) They had placed tooth paste inside my Oreo. Lol

First I was surprised....then I got angry, & this was no April Fool's joke. I pity the poor drivers that have come in out of the Nevada desert, (without services available for miles), who have no choice but to gas up here. Gas in the next town, Trona, 56 miles to the south was $3.69/gal-which was bad enough. This comment is about gas prices, but is also about Panamint Springs Shell, which I think is taking advantage of the unfortunate guy in an RV who has no choice but to gas up there. Of course there are other issues here.... things are not as simple as they seem; at the time though, these prices were outrageous. I wonder about their prices now..
