I hear from multiple jokers every day, offering miracle health benefits, credit cards and other services. It's extraordinary how many competition prizes I win each week. This particular prankster seems very confused: the heading says I have won 'an' (it's always 'an' rather than 'a') Samsung TV, though it goes on to promise the knees of a 20 year old. Or am I confused? Maybe an Samsung TV is capable of giving someone the knees of a 20 year old. If so, I shall pop out to the shops pronto.

This is my contribution to this weeks Macro Monday Theme of April Fools - I had to raid my box of miniature figures to create this scene.... HMM
I love April Fool's day and I almost forgot about it this year! I tricked 2/3 people I tried fooling, so not too bad. The best was my parents when I wrote to them saying I was getting a tattoo with a friend after work. My dad almost had a heart attack and was in the car ready to find and stop me from tarnishing my body! Happy April Fool's day!
..and If I were to get a real tattoo I would put it some place weird like the inside of my lip or on a toe or something small. I change my mind a lot so I know I would regret whatever I got.
so, woke up this morning (and to make a long story short), had some pregnancy complications that landed me in the hospital. i'm still here. they want to monitor me for 24 hours.
thank god for wireless internet.
baby seems to be doing fine despite the situation.

The parade went to the SOCK EXCHANGE (Pacific Stock Exchange) where socks were exchanged and thrown in the air!
...and of course, the PARADE would not be complete without a visit to the cold black BANKER'S HEART in front of BANK OF AMERICA where marchers tossed pennies at the black marble 'sculpture'.

Flying penguins are a very recent addition to the penguin family in evolutionary terms. A few isolated species have evolved to make the most of their small wings, allowing them to migrate to warmer climes for the harsh Antarctic winter months. Elusive and secretive, these populations of penguin are extremely hard to locate in the rainforest and even seeing them fly on their migration is a rare experience. Little is yet known about just how these small birds survive flying over such vast distances, or why the anatomical differences they possess enable them to fly when other penguin families cannot.

GRAND MARAIS, MICHIGAN - At a meeting of the Michigan Society of Speculative Science (MiSSS), Dr. Werner Unterseeboot of the Institute for Great Lakes Submarine Research announced that his advanced photographic analysis has confirmed the validity of the famous "Windy Beach Photo".
The photo was taken by an unidentified vacationer in the late summer of 2003 in the sleepy village of Leland on Lake Michigan and has been the subject of nearly unending controversy in scientific circles since it came the attention of the scientific community last year.
Appearing fiercely triumphant as he read from a prepared statement, Dr. Unterseeboot (himself the subject of much ridicule) declared "With this photo, my years of research are validated. Without question, we can say what everyone with eyes in their head has known all along: there is an active submarine presence in the Great Lakes. While I am not ready at this time to say who might be operating these vessels, it can no longer be questioned that they are in the Lakes".
The 87-year-old maverick researcher refused an interview, but an employee of the Institute speaking on conditions of anonymity related that the Institute has "literally thousands of photos of submarines from all over the Great Lakes" that will be released as they are validated to a special web site set up by the IGLSR and located at:

Hi everyone. I have some sad news.
As you may have noticed, there has been a decrease in activity from me lately. The rate at which I post my funnies is getting lower and lower, and it has been quite a while since I've posted a real MOC. This is due to the fact that my life has gotten very busy and I don't get as many good ideas anymore. Making funnies has become redundant and I feel like my heart is just not in it anymore as it used to. As a result, I think the quality of my funnies has dropped. The response to my pictures hasn't been as positive as it used to as of late, and some people have even told me that my jokes are getting old.
In addition, the fact that Flickr has changed its interface AGAIN and has gotten rid of the notes infuriates me. That was the ONE thing that made Flickr special, but now it's just like another version of Instagram and I will not be part of it. It's just not fun anymore, so it is with a heavy heart that I have to stop making funnies and leave the Flickr community. Thanks to everyone who has supported me and stuck with me until the end.

St Peter is shown lifted up by two angels into heaven where he is welcomed by the company of apostles. On his right are the signs of the zodiac, and in the top right corner the Blessed Virgin, who is the "Maris Stella" (star of the sea). As we sing in our Office hymn to the Virgin, she is the "glorious Lady throned on high above the star-illumined sky".
Below, the pope, whose face bears a striking resemblance to Peter, as he is the Successor of St Peter, rules over the church from St Peter's basilica. In his right hand he extends the olive branch of peace, but in his left he holds the sword with which to discipline heretics.
On his left is a depiction of Christ as Helios, the sun god, who is preceded by the eagles, symbols of the soaring doctrine of the Gospel of St John.
This ivory is a rare survival as most depictions of the Ascension of St Peter were destroyed after the condemnation of the doctrine by the Third Council of Antioch. The ivory is in the British Musem.

(Chapter 9 - 2K(9)Lone Or Not K(9)2Klone? That Is The Kuestion!)
I need your opinion. I was going to post this at the start of the month in April. But the unfolding events of Coronavirus, and my desire to have written all the chapters of this book about the dogs in my family's life until getting to this one, meant I had to wait until now. Here's what I need your thoughts and opinions on.
I have been so lucky to have gotten such an amazing dog like Kennedy whom a beautiful beloved found for me and gave me as a Valentine's Day gift last year. What an incredible dog, what an incredible gift. You have seen and gotten to know him with me over the last many months.
He is such an amazing dog, I wish he had not been neutered before I got him. I would have loved to have him mate with one of the beautiful female German Shepherds he loves to play with in the dog park (when things are not closed or avoidable due to CV19 circumstances). But that is not to be.
In the meantime, he is so balanced. When I am in phone calls and meetings during the day he literally does not make a sound or disturb me. The same way, he NEVER does ANYTHING that would distract me while I am driving, even since our first 10 hours drive home together the night I got him. But when I am free to play with him, or when he gets to play with other canine cousins, he is so playful, and active he seems to have a different personality.
So I would love for him to have a companion to play with when I am busy with work or not to be disturbed. I also wish I had gotten to see him grow up as a puppy as it has been nearly 4 decades since I had a puppy. That is what made me want to have him cloned.
It is amazing what that technology can do now. What do you think of this? Please review this proposal in detail, and the price. I have a few more days to make a decision to get this 50% off price. Would I be a fool to miss this April 1st offer?
