I bought these little sheep from the Easter deco corner in a shop. Unfortunately I couldn't think of anything creative or clever like so many of you did! I laid the sheep on a plastic top with a small cushion (for the grass and flowers) underneath.
Shocking sight seen at Laudy's 10R. Seems the folks in Mobile aren't without a sense of humor. Pink slips all around!
Taken for group 'Macro Monday' 1st April 2019, theme 'April Fool'.
Not my favourite theme. I struggled to decide what to do. This is straight out of the camera. The shells and the grass is real. The rest is fake.
Good grief.. it's April Fools Day and Bunny is here to help. :-)
HMM!!
and Happy Sliders Sunday too!!
Happy April fools day! I thought I would do something a little unusual and a little silly today, and what better than an old fashioned game of spot the difference. In this hectic world we now live we can get so caught up on all the serious stuff and its good to let your hair down and see life through the eyes of a child from time to time. After all, a very well known dreamer once summed it up with ''Adults are only kids grown up anyway''

Macro Mondays theme: April Fools!
Thanks to everyone who took the time to view, comment, and fave my photo. It’s really appreciated. 😊
The saying says that....Happy nice first Wenesday of April.
It is the day for jokes which we call "april fish" !
One of many tax demands which landed on the doorsteps of unsuspecting pensioners recently. Is this an April Fools' Day joke?. I don't owe HMRC a single penny and yet they think I am earning far more than the Prime Minister. ( I wish....) HMRC are serious about this , but it is so ridiculous that you have to laugh, it is they who are the April fools. Don't trust the tax man.
I really appreciate any Views, Faves and Comments and I will try to visit your sites in due course. Thank you so much.
Quite why I have kept this photo in my archive since an extremely cold day in early January, I'm not sure, but it may be due to a little reticence on my part, because I'm not comfortable when people don't trust me. To me, my integrity is everything. Perhaps that is derived from being brought up as an officer and a gentleman, traits I've regretted not casting off earlier. As a defender of the truth I have felt some barbed disbelief, from those whom I may have considered my best friends, when I revealed I had seen a black panther on my way to a place coincidentally called "Surprise View" very early on a December morning. I can't help it if that really is the name of the place. And I really can't help it if a big black leopardy thing ran across the road in front of me. But both are true.
But being a little older, and a bit more used to being disbelieved (in spite of my Christian morals I uphold some of the time) I have decided on this day to let those who need to know about these things, see this rare photo.
I must admit I had never heard of this before and I was still quite sceptical about sightings of an "ice-bow" nearby, when the sun pierced over the hill on that cold morning. Before my eyes a glorious icy rainbow formed around the sun. It was so bright, at first, I didn't notice something even more amazing about it. Quite suddenly I realised, I could see snow or ice flakes floating down from the bow, the whole thing looking like a brightly lit snow dome (If you are not familiar with them it's a little glass or plastic dome which has a Santa Claus, or a snowman, or some such...perhaps a plastic penguin inside. You shake it about and a blizzard of snow swirls around for a bit. It can keep amused for hours, and is far more entertaining than watching most of the rubbish on TV these days)
Even though I was a trained meteorologist as part of my Deck Officer training, I had never heard of the Snowdome phenomena but on Googling it I discovered Wikipedia states
"Snowdomes {aka sno-domes} are extremely rare. They were first recorded only as recently as 7th January 2017. Snowdomes [1] are thought to form when the air temperature is below 0 deg C and the air humidity is high, The air becomes a dense mass of molecular, suspended, ice crystals. A bow of ice crystals for when a strong beam of warmer sunlight pierces the sky. [2] The pulsing waves of light rays push back the ice crystals to form a bow around the beam of light, but at a critical point the energy level in the light rays give the ice particles a negative electrical charge [edit] and they start to fall from the bow. As the ice crystals fall they collide with others to form snowflakes [3. Needs certification]. The whole phenomena only lasts from 3-5 minutes but during this phase the impression of a snowdome may be clearly visible to those in the local area.[Wikipedia 2017]
I suppose I'm just a lucky guy.

Sorry, running so behind. I had the idea, but the execution wasn't perfect, and perhaps I need more practice in Photoshop. But a bit of fun anyway...
Don't have to be ashamed of the car I drive
I'm just glad to be here, happy to be alive
It don't matter if you're by my side
I'm satisfied...

I wish I had read the warning on the front of this product, shaving the palm of my hand is inconvenient and that greenish colour is most unusual.
Hey Mon, you can't help but notice the increase in the number of birds flying north. Just this morning a flock of Jamaican Gulls flew overhead on their way to northern nesting grounds.
Tank Jah, I had my camera nearby. I quickly grabbed the Pentax and captured this Jamaican Gull who had briefly stopped for a rest before continuing his journey.
Av a good day an don't worry bout a ting - see ya lata.
April fools….. The #MacroMondays theme for 4/1 is April fools… silly, funny, punny. And I had a bit of a tough time figuring out how to do that in macro. Then I started thinking like the kids in my classes before I retired- being playful with language!! I think I’ll have three but I’ll need to stage the other two… I’ll put up the size verification in a bit.
The Pleiades cluster on the left side and lower right a little bit of a gas nebula. Just for you Janet, April Fool. (Hint) I have done this micro shot before. Another John Hughes called it the Olive oil nebula.
If you take from nature, please give something back
I won the lottery!!! Happy April Fool's Day!!!

This group of funsters were out in Piccadilly having a jape on April fools day, they go by the name of :-
The Moods have a listen, they are quite good.
I took this image back in april of this year and was going to post it as a "spring" shot, but at the time it didn't look like spring. Now, it may be more appropriate to post it for fall except that it is not really a fall shot. This is one messed up image :) I'll let you be the judge.

This was a real tear jerker putting this family together for a portrait.
Using a Smith Victor hot light with a Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 2.8/80 Exakta mount and a Novoflex bellows.
Rushed for time yet again, but managed to get a respectable shot SOOC. It did become a LITTLE bit of a production as I got out the octopus clamp for the first time in a month. I didn't notice the tip of the Viking's alligator clip peeking out from behind the VI Kings until after I had broken down my setup. If I had, I would have made an effort to eliminate it.

Can you find the hidden 37? (In this photo, not the setup.)
