Final approach into LAX after a long flight from Bangkok. We were coming in as TG794, Thai Airways Airbus A345. 15 hours journey was about to be completed.

View of the Slide/Grass Valley fires from along the I-15 freeway in Hesperia, CA. The smoke, as you can see, is definitely starting to spread.

The time when I am regularly behind the camera again is approaching. I live here now; in the desert. In dirt and sun, between Joshua Trees and wash board roads. I am finally home and no thing could bring me more joy.
