The next weekend Raf and I planned to go to the town of Mai Chau, ride up into the mountains and stay in a village. I had been thinking of getting back to Saigon by motorcycle, so I got an old Russian Minsk and we eschewed the bus to do the trip on two wheels. This turned out to be a very good idea. The mountains were like nothing I have ever seen, the landscapes were quite beautiful, and we could turn down any road, stop anywhere and everywhere... We stayed overnight with a family in a stilt house in the forest, and we got to try the local canine barbecue.

Missed could refer to me missing the sharp focus I'd like to have had on the bee... but it really means to me that Mr. Bee missed hitting the flower on his approach to the blossom (or so it seems). If you view this large on black, you will be able to see the lovely texture that gives rise to the common name of Lambs-ear for this plant. (Stachys byzantina)

Many hydrangeas are along the both side of this approach.

Meigetsuin is a temple of the zen sect near Kita-Kamakura Station.

The hydrangeas of the garden of Meigetsuin is very beautiful

and the temple is nicknamed "Ajisai-dera" or Hydrangea Temple.
