Meigetsuin is a temple of the zen sect near Kita-Kamakura Station.

The hydrangeas of the garden of Meigetsuin is very beautiful

and the temple is nicknamed "Ajisai-dera" or Hydrangea Temple.

On our approach to Hong Kong Check Lap Kok in a cloudy afternoon. This was Cathay Pacific Airways B773 coming from Bangkok, and we were about to be on the ground shortly. Note the jet boat down below, I believe that they were coming from Macau.

This half-way to good compromise prevented the rucksack from interfering with pedalling and put today's food (in the yellow bag) in easy reach. In the background is the bay just before Kabelvag church.

Today I am going to sneak up on the monsters and get them before they get me!

Finally, 27 kilometres (that’s 16 miles) after leaving Aumont-Aubrac, the village of Nasbinals – our stop for the night – is in sight.

After a week of steady downpours we had a short break...Another storm was on the way but it just happened that I had an unexpected free hour - and I swear I heard the sun say "hello how are ya?" I decided to see what was "new" in a favorite area and I was totally unprepared for the loveliness and drama that I found. Both camera batteries were low...I was inappropriately dressed and shod for slogging through muck but I couldn't resist. The few pics I got aren't award-winners, I know - but they serve my purpose - to document and trigger the memories of some beautiful, beautiful moments - and were totally worth the price of the shoes.

I have no idea if the wildflowers are still there...I know from reports that much of the area had some flooding...I'm hoping to check it out tomorrow...and believe me, I'll be prepared.
