Just downstream of McIntyre Bluff is a small dam and we knew we could cross the Okanagan River there if we could make it. If not we would have to turn around and cycle all the way back to where we started.

Haresfield Beacon was the halfway point of the first hike, and luckily, it was also the place where the weather started to finally clear up, and the hike shifted to some relatively open spaces instead of woodland hiking

At the Red Caboose Motel & Restaurant, I do not remember a U.S. ever not being flown. Westbound from Paradise (Lehman Place) to East Strasburg Station . The last leg of the 4.5 mile journey with the engine now in front of the consist.

Check out the drive-thru lane. I've never tried going through on my bike: I like talking to the baristas, and there's no way to use my cup in drive-thru. (They should set it up with one of those pneumatic tubes like at the bank. That would be awesome.)
