Mayotte is an overseas department and region[5] of France consisting of a main island, Grande-Terre (or Mahoré), a smaller island, Petite-Terre (or Pamanzi), and several islets around these two. The archipelago is located in the northern Mozambique Channel in the Indian Ocean, namely between north-western Madagascar and north-eastern Mozambique. Mayotte's area is 374 square kilometres (144 sq mi), and with its estimated 194,000 people is very densely populated (520 /km2 or 1,300 /sq mi).

Edited ISS036 image taken during an approach to California showing southern California and Mexico. Northern California and the Rim Fire are visible at the left of the image. (The American Fire is also barely visible.) This image was taken in late August of 2013.
Taken on Sunday 7th October 2012 at the Great Central Railway with an EOS 7D and EF 70-300 L IS USM Lens.
This was a photo merge in PS of two handheld photos of my back yard as a dust storm approached this evening. minutes after these photos were taken, the storm blew through the area. A short time afterwards it was gone.
From Wednesday morning - there was not a bit of word about storms in the forecast. And then this monster random storm pops up out of nowhere - with the most bizarre wall cloud I've ever seen. And the lightning was spectacular.
The only photoshopping I did on this photo was to increase the contrast in the clouds so it looked more like what the human eye was actually seeing - photos tend to come out flatter than the real image. So this is pretty much what it looked like - lotsof peeps were outside, staring up at the sky at these weird cloud formations.
Mikado #15's Fireman is on the seat box clearing the left side of the locomotive, as the train approaches the unguarded rural crossing at Ferry Road, not even a mile south of the Colgate Grove Wye.
