Valley Railroad No. 3025 approaches the Dump Road crossing in Essex, Connecticut with a trainload of families. On the opposite end of the train is Thomas the Tank Engine - the reason why the families are visiting on this late April afternoon.

The signals at CP 433 are lit for Amtrak train 281's short trek between station stops in Buffalo as the day's last light fades away
On the road between Lagos and Badagry: the Lagos-Badagry Expressay is in need of some repair but is so busy and crowded that it would be hard to close it for improvements. Driving along it, if not in a hurry, and I wasn't, provided never-ending vistas of daily life.

86228 approaches Carstairs from the south with a Cross Country train for Glasgow Central and Edinburgh. I was on a trip to Scotland with workmates travelling and taking photos, we were heading for Edinburgh, 47704 was waiting at Carstairs to attach and work our rear portion to Edinburgh, 19/6/83

It seems to me that Whitby is a place that so often has fantastic light. Even potentially stormy weather can produce an excellent opportunity for the photographer.
Spot the ball on the green, an excellent approach shot must have been played here (and no need for them to shout "fore" for those on the path either)
The day had started quite dull when i went to photograph at Chester on Saturday 05/07/1980, here is Class 40 40176 passing signals on its way into Chester with 08:55 York to Llandudno service,
