Without much fanfare the extended East London Line, now part of the 'London Overground' network, opened on Tuesday 27th April. This picture was taken on Wednesday 28th. The full frequency and extension to Croydon will happen in May. This train is approaching Hoxton station and has a poster on the front saying 'First Train April 2010'. There were two such trains running (the first ones in each direction?). This part of the line is on the trackbed of the North London Railway which originally led to Broad Street terminus. This closed in 1986.

Metrolink 3064 is on a non-revenue inbound working from the Eccles / Media City direction as approaches the Anchorage stop on a winter’s day (22.01.2020).
I was going to describe it as Manchester Metrolink but the location is of course in Salford (GB) rather its larger eastern neighbour.
