***Question: What do you do when you have three inter-related stories to tell that will all help to bring about the conclusion to a current story arc?

Answer: Build a story tower... of course!

So, without further ado. Here is the conclusion to "League of Heroes: Ascent: Jail Break".

League of Heroes: Ascent

Episode 1: Jail Break - Part 4

Exterior - The burning New Brickton prison:

“Your ten minutes are up…” Detective Garnet muttered to himself.

“Excuse me sir?” responded a young officer.

“Oh, nothing Williams. I was just talking to myself.” Detective Garnet paced uncomfortably and looked up at the burning prison. “Is the perimeter secure Williams?”

“Yes. Nothing is getting in or out of there with out us knowing,” the young officer motioned to the burning building and shouted over the din of sirens as more fire trucks slid into the prison yard. “Should we try to get some officers in there to restore some order to this chaos?”

“Let’s hold the line here a little longer, and give those firefighters some time to do what they do best.”

Garnet didn’t finish the rest of that sentence, but he silently thought to himself, “Well, you’ve just bought yourself five more minutes Cloak. You’d better make it count.”

Interior - Solitary confinement a.k.a. “Desolation Row”:

The Crimson Cloak had spent the last ten minutes fighting his way through unbearable heat, wicked flames, and the chaos of a hundred savage prisoners who suddenly had their life term commuted by an unexpected explosion. The men who were held in “Desolation Row” were the worst of the worst. They were career criminals with hands as bloody red as the cape worn by the Crimson Cloak. They would not hesitate to tear the hero limb from limb with their bare hands if given but one chance at him.

The Cloak had already dispatched a dozen roving gangs on his way down to solitary. His costume was stained with blood, charred from the flames, and torn from combat. Yet he still strode with an inhuman air of calm down the dimly lit corridor. These thugs, this human refuse, would not deter him from his prize. He needed answers, and the man to give him those answers lived right here in “Desolation Row”.

The Cloak knocked a would be attacker out cold with his staff, and stood before the cell of the Thin Man. The door to his cell had already been torn from its hinges, and hung limply to the side. The soft glow of the fluorescent light draped the Thin Man in a sickly hue as he cowered on his bunk. The Cloak stepped into the cell.

“Go away! Leave me alone!” shouted the slim prisoner as he scooted back as far as he could. The cold stone wall behind him an instant reminder that he was trapped.

“Shut up, and tell me what I need to know Thin Man.” the Cloak leaned in the fluorescent lights glowing ominously on his red goggles.

“Ah… Ahhhh… Abbb… About what?”

“This explosion!” The Cloak reached out and grabbed the whimpering man and hauled him up of his by his collar. “You know everything Thin Man. You are New Brickton’s resident stool pigeon, so don‘t hold back on me now.”

“Ahh… ye… ye… yesss… Of course n… no… notttt. Not for you kah… kah… Cloak!” The Thin Man’s feet dangled as the Cloak pressed him forcibly against the wall.

“TALK!”

“Wah… wah… well, yah… yah… you s-s-see. I’m not re… re… really privy t-t-to the pah… pah.. plan.” The Thin Man squirmed and avoided the steely glare of the Cloak.

“WHO WAS BEHIND THE EXPLOSION!!!” Crimson Cloak bellowed in a harsh and gravely voice, losing all patients with the small man who he held limply before him.

“It… it… it was the sk… sk… SKULL! Okay?!? This is juh… juh… just pah… pah… part of his puh… puh… plan. It g-g-goes SOOOO much deeper.

“I figured as much, now tell me something I don’t know. Who caused the explosion?” The Cloak lifted the squirming man up so that his head touched the buzzing fluorescent light.

“Duh… duh… doc… doctor... Doctor Toxin! L-l-listen! Th-th-that’s all I know!”

“Better watch your back Thin Man.” The Crimson Cloak threw the prisoner back onto his bunk like a rag doll, and strode out of the cell slamming the broken door behind him.

Interior - Tunnel system below the prison:

Sam Sterling was drenched in sweat, he was beaten and bruised, and now he was on the retreat. His fight against Firebug and Barricade had not gone well at all. With his gleaming shield and his mechanized armor, he was able to hold out against their combined might, however the structure around them had not fared so well and soon collapsed around them.

When Sam came to, he was three levels down and there was no sign of Firebug or Barricade. Though, he soon found his mentor, Captain Electron, broken and beaten to unconsciousness. William Watts lay in a heap against the cold cement floor. His mask had been torn away and he was left for dead by his attackers.

Sam regained his composure, the servos and actuators in his suit helping him to upright himself, and he got to his feet. His HUD in his helmet blared multiple warnings. Slowly, he made his way over to Watts and gathered the fallen hero into his arms.

“Sir? Are you awake? Are you even still alive?” Sam felt like weeping as he tried to check for a pulse. He had let down his mentor. He had promised him that he would be there when he needed him, but he had failed and now William Watts had paid the ultimate price.

“You’d know that if you’d look at your HUD… geez…” A weak voice groaned up at Sam.

“You’re alive!” Sam blushed, embarrassed that he forgot about all of the tech that was crammed into his suit. Suddenly alarms went off in his helmet… warning of an impending explosion.

Silver Sentry got to his feet and dashed away as quickly as he could, cradling Watts in his arms he could feel the heat of the explosion before he heard it. Flames burst through the subterranean corridor as the two heroes made their narrow escape.

… It all began with an explosion… Now it was time to rise from the flames.

“A.I. - About Apple’s Identity”

www.flickr.com/photos/stealaway/54271473379/in/dateposted...

Will Apple listen to Mark Zuckerberg’s criticism?

I don’t think so—especially not for someone like me who was captivated by the dream of Apple Vision Pro.

Mark Zuckerberg of Meta appeared on a popular podcast and criticized Apple, claiming they haven’t released an innovative product since the iPhone and that their sales have been declining.

While criticizing Apple on a podcast originating from Apple itself may sound like a light joke, I think he was quite serious about it. After all, he now wields the weapon of AR glasses.

Supported by various institutions and a talented team, he may have achieved some notable goals. Yet, as an old Apple fan who’s been using products since the PowerBook 540c, I can’t feel any sense of craftsmanship identity from him.

This critique extends to other leading tech companies of our time as well: Meta, Amazon, Tesla, Microsoft, and Google.

Simply listing these company names likely brings their logos and the faces of their leaders to mind for those reading this.

I once wrote that Steve Jobs wasn’t an artist.

He was skilled at weaving together scattered images from our current world, expanding them, and linking them to the future. That was his specialty.

The one who actually created was Jonathan Ive. There are probably others like me who share this minority opinion.

However, seeing how the IT leaders mentioned earlier change their company policies at the mere prospect of Trump regaining power, I can’t help but voice my opinion:

The AR glasses, cars, and other products they create lack a crucial concept. Whether you call it a profound ideology or a lighter term like identity, it’s missing.

True, Tim Cook and the current Apple team have become more prone to letting slip details about unreleased products.

As I’ve often written, I love music.

When artists isolate themselves from the world, locking themselves in studios to pour their anger, hatred, joy, and sorrow wholeheartedly into a single note, they entrust something to their work.

Once they finish an album and release it, they share what they felt while creating it. (The artist I admire, Prince, rarely explained his works, so I had to interpret his completed pieces on my own.)

Until the album is complete and released, these artists say nothing.

The ones who move me most are those kinds of artists.

The faint light of Apple’s innovation within me hasn’t been extinguished.

Not even last year’s Apple Vision Pro, criticized as a major failure, could extinguish it. On the contrary, it radiates an even stronger light than the iPhone.

This isn’t just a novel electronic device—it conveys a sense of ideology or thought beyond its intricate electronic components.

Unfortunately, I doubt I’ll ever feel that same sense of ideology or thought from Meta’s AR glasses or Tesla’s cars.

I’ve written at length, but here’s my conclusion:

“Apple CEO Tim Cook Donates Over $1.5 Million to Trump’s Inauguration”

gigazine.net/news/20250104-apple-ceo-tim-cook-donates-1-m...

At first glance, it might seem like Tim Cook, like other IT companies, has sold his soul. But that’s not the case.

While Tim Cook personally donates to Trump, Apple as a company has refrained from doing the same as other companies.

Apple didn’t bow to Trump.

If someone were to ask me what Apple’s ideology or thought is, I would answer:

Apple is a group of people who believe in themselves.

Steve Jobs is probably laughing at this overly serious piece I’ve written from somewhere up in heaven.

A company that doesn’t kowtow to Trump—that’s Apple for you. :)

Addendum:

I have corrected it.

Before the correction, it appeared on Apple Podcasts,

After the correction, it appeared on podcasts originating from Apple,

The work of Leonardo da Vinci who was sleeping.

That is the number when it was put up for auction.

No sign was written on the work.

So this work couldn't conclude that it was his work.

However # as a result of various appraisals # it was exposed to the sun.

A work that no one notices. A work that speaks quietly without a title.

I will continue to strive to provide it to many people in various ways.

Main story

There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.

One to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.

The other to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days staring at the shine

quietly.

Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.

I face myself to change tomorrow a vague day into something certain.

That is the meaning of a rebirth.

I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.

After she left I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After

she left # how many times did I depend too much on her # doubt her # envy her and keep on telling lies

until I realized it is love?

I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the

daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.

I had been thinking about such a thing.

However I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see

something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me # a guy filled with ambiguous unstable

tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.

Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

タイトル

“” A.I. アップルのアイデンティティについて””

www.flickr.com/photos/stealaway/54271473379/in/dateposted...

gigazine.net/news/20250104-apple-ceo-tim-cook-donates-1-m...

Day 1 of 365 babe-a-licious photos!

Yesterday during this photo shoot, a homeless man approached me and asked for change. Personally I’d rather give a homeless person food or clothing more willingly than potential drug money. But in this case it didn’t matter because I didn’t have any change anyway.

So when dude asks for change. I tell him,

“I just threw all my change in the wishing well down the street man”.

Now why I said that I don’t know. Because I didn’t have change when he asked and I didn’t have change when the babe asked 10 minutes prior when we were actually at the wishing well. I should have just said, “no” to this guy.

But for some reason I think I owe this dude an explanation of my “no” answer. Come to think of it, I think I explain my yes or no answers more than I should in my life in general. I need to stop doing that. If an explanation is needed, they can just fucking ask.

At any rate as I’m walking away from dude with my superfluous lying excuse for leaving him changeless, Chloe blurts responds to my blurb with,

“Daddy you didn’t put your change in the wishing well at all!”

Of course making me look like a total lying cheap asshole.

There are many forms of passion in car culture, no one better than the other. In the end it's about driving what drives you.

And if so what is the question

Since it is 10/10/10 I thought I would do a related post, now the non geeks out there may not get this so let me explain

101010 is binary for 42, which for fans of Douglas Adams books will understand what that is the answer for

I also tried to meet todays dailyshoot.com assignment of "Create a photograph with a distinctly asymmetrical composition today. Pick your subject carefully to go with the theme. "

I am happy with my creativity here but not with the shot, but after a few tries this is the best I could get

Also I included two Nickels as people born on 10/10/55 will have turned 55 today

I wonder what was behind me. I hope the lighting survives. (see note below by @pardonreeds to answer these questions)

I left Stark Tower in Tony's helicopter. I asked the pilot where the nearest police HQ was, now the collision had screwed everything up. He told me of a place called Bludhaven, apparently there was a police station there.

He dropped me off and gave me directions to the station, and soon enough, I was there.

As I entered, the place was deserted. I walked over to a man behind a glass screen.

"Why's it so quiet here?"

He looked at me solemnly.

"We were attacked by some whack villain. Black Aaron, or something." He sighed "No one comes in here much anymore. They're scared they'll get attacked."

"I'm sorry to hear that." I said, sounding as sad as I could. "But I have a question regarding the attempted assassination of Tony Stark."

"I did hear about that. Do you have info?"

"Technically." I pulled the bullet out. "Tell me everything you know about Sionis."

Once Sir Joseph of Baeth learnt of Lenfald's separation, he feared that Djorn and Roger were in danger on their way to Garheim. This fear was realized when he received a note stating that the traveling duo had in fact been captured at the Lenfald-Loreos border and were being held for ransom at the old Garhim embassy; roughly ten miles north along the western coast. At this same time Joseph had received an order to go fishing in Lenfald in order to spy on the province. Figuring this was a perfect time to do so, he proceeded to hire a crew, pack his wares and fishing rods, and load up the Rogue Spur for the rescue of Roger and Djorn.....

Several weeks had passed since their departure from Dalmunatha. It took time for Joseph to sail far enough south in order to steer clear of the Magic Isles and plot a very careful course through the Sea of Despair to reach the safer coasts of the Western side of Roawia. Upon arrival to the cliffs that held the old Garhim embassy, its banners changed to the colors of Lenfald, Joseph told his crew to prepare to be boarded with weapons at the ready- if they had previously kicked the Garhims out of the embassy, who knows what they would do to them as Loreesis.

Surprisingly enough however, Sir Joseph and his crew were met with open arms as they docked to the old embassy with dock hands helping to immediately unload the sea-wary contents of their journey. Djorn and Roger were waiting along the lookout just above the docks holding on to two beautiful women each with giant grins on their faces. Standing next to them was a Lenfel knight with a light grey beard and swept back hair, wearing black lapels, noting him as a higher lord. He yelled out, "What ho Sir Joseph! How thee fare on this fine day?! Did thy winds give you quick course to mighty Lenfald?!"

Not sure if this was a ruse or sincere question Joseph knew to keep his tongue witty and his sword close for this encounter. He called back to the lord,

"Greetings noble Lenfel! The winds were sure in helping us get 'ere at the best pace it could!" He began to walk up the stairs to talk to the noble more clearly, "I dont think we have had the pleasure of acquaintance, I am Sir Joseph of Baeth, merchant and knight of Loreos. I was requested to come rescue my two colleagues here, who seem to have both made themselves rather comfortable. I feel I have brought more than enough gold and treasure to negotiate with for their immediate release. Exactly who do I have the pleasure of doing business with my lord?"

At this, the "captured" duo had begun laughing while the noble wrapped an arm around the confused Joseph and gave out a hearty laugh too. Gathering himself, the high lord finally spoke to Joseph, "Nay Sir Joseph! Yer friends aren't our prisoners! Why they have been great fun in our little castle! That note was written just to scare ye to get yer booty out here sooner! Twas a big misunderstanding that has happened since the separation of Lenfald from the nations of Roawia. Thou first think we kicked out the Garhims from their embassy, tis a false accusation- all the occupants left when Garheim was in most dire trouble with the Queen's soldiers. We took up residence because we didnt want them damn filthy Dragon soldiers to find and take root in this abandoned outpost.."

He turned and gestured to Roger and Djorn, "And the capturing of these two twas a complete accident, I had not yet returned from the council meeting so when word of our separation began to incorrectly spread- the local militias deemed it best to start building a wall and patrolling the Lorseesi-Lenfel border which is where your companions were taken. Our most sincere apologies for this mistake, we do not request any form of ransom and if you'd like you can set up a booth in the courtyard and sell thy wares! Stay awhile and let thy crew rest from your long journey! Im sure many 'ere would love to buy some gems and trinkets! AH I almost forgot the pleasantries, I am Lord Jon of House Dragmar.'

Surprised at this revelation and indeed tired from his journey here, Joseph was still suspicious of this Lord Jon and those Lenfels around him. He decided it would be best to accept the invitation and let the crew rest for a few days so he could dig a bit deeper into the mystery that Lenfald had become... He accepted the high lord's apology and invitation to set up shop and rest for a couple days. He finished by giving a sly grin and asking a single question, "So Lord Jon, I have heard that Lenfald's western shores are home to some of the best fishing the realm has ever seen! I just so happen to have my fishing rods with me, would you be up for a spot of fishing tomorrow?"

The old Lenfel replied, "Well of course we have the world's best fishing! I will take you up on that offer Sir Joseph! Tomorrow at mid morning we shall fish!"

.......

It was summertime in Roawia and like the other nations, Lenfald's denizens were enjoying this time of peace. This gave the old embassy a very festive feel. Merchants were selling their wares, people were milling about and talking, children were laughing; jesters juggled and told jokes, the men were having fun practicing their archery and sword skills. Roger had met a cute baker so while he managed Joseph's booth, he allowed her to sell bread to hungry customers. Djorn was off of his shift so he resumed courting the fair ladies he had previously been seen with.

The Garhims had set up a rather good system of agriculture here so many were tending and harvesting the varieties of produce and food that was growing around the castle though the guard presence was quite large for such a small outpost...Joseph noticed this.

Just a few meters down from the dock that held the Rogue Spur was a wooden outlook that jutted out over the cliffs, a perfect spot for fishing. It was here that Lord Jon and Sir Joseph had cast out their lines and began to wait for something to bite.

"Ahhh... a lovely day ain't it Lord Jon?" Asked Joseph. Slipping the objective of spying to Roger and Djorn late in the night, he knew that the information the three could collect would be valuable to his Areani allies. Joseph had also given the Lord some of his strongest Loreesi ale at breakfast to loosen him up before their little fishing excursion.

"Yes, tis a great day after all Sir Joseph! Nothing quite like men of stature relishing in the simple enjoyments of the commoners."

Looking away, Joseph rolled his eyes and nodded. "Aye milord, tis always a surreal experience. Tell thee, what dost thou think of Lenfald's separation from the Roawia?"

"Not much to be honest with ya lad. Everyone be a little tenser with being afraid of how the other nations will react, but we will all get along in the end Im sure. I will tell ya what Joseph, I dont give much trust to them Loreesi or Garhim diplomats and politicians. Tis the tried and true men of Roawia, those who work its land and seas that I trust the most. Men like you lad... I will tell you this though my new friend, something you'd like to hear but cannot tell anyone..."

He leaned in close to Joseph, so close Joseph could smell the Loreesi ale on the high lord's breath.

"I heard something remarkable has happened that gives reason for the sudden movements of Lenfald's ships-- the reason why there wasn't a vessel stationed here upon your arrival. There are trusted rumors that us Lenfel's have discovered something." He pointed out to the sea, "Something out there...-"

His sentence was cut off by Joseph being startled by the sudden jerking of his fishing line. "AHA! I believe I caught me a fish!" He yelled as he pulled up a medium sized fish.

Broke from his drunken trance, Lord Jon exclaimed, "Oi! That is a fine lookin fish me boy! Let us cook it up and get more of that fancy ale of yours!"

First off, sorry for the rather long story! But it is needed for the continuation of Sir Joseph of Baeth's story which will probably be shorter in upcoming installments.

(Also, apologies for the kind of crappy pics- my actual camera isnt working and my light box didnt fit this size MOC so a lot of photoshop was used in the first pic so sorry about that.)

Secondly, Wow! This was a big entry to both the Loreos Local Challenge LCXXII and the second Journeyman task of the Merchants guild!

This was originally apart of a display last year for a local Lego event here in the Northern Colorado area but I never got around to posting it as life got in the way and I wasn't sure how to incorporate this into my character's story at the time. The base had been sitting around while the original castle was taken down to build something for my next Merchants Guild task.

It was really my first attempt at building an actual castle for once and since it was intended for a display- I wanted an open area for easy viewing while keeping the castle modular so that is why it doesnt really have a keep or anything. But after my quick redux I think it turned out quite well!

If you've made it this far thanks so much for viewing! It's good to be actively building again and there is still quite a bit in store! :)

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Some of you may have noticed that, unfortunately, owing to the fact that a certain person who sells truck photos on eBay commercially has been lifting my images from this album and selling them I have had to remove 2300 photos that didn't have a watermark. I have now run around 1700 through Lightroom and added a watermark with the intention of bulk uploading them again. Rather than watermark the existing (hidden) files in Flickr one at a time it will be easier to do it this way. I definitely won’t be adding individual tags with the make and model of each vehicle I will just add generic transport tags. Each photo is named after the vehicle and reg in any case. For anyone new to these images there is a chapter and verse explanation below. It is staggering how many times I get asked questions that a quick scan would answer or just as likely I can’t possibly answer – I didn’t take them, but, just to clarify-I do own the copyright- and I do pursue copyright theft.

This is a collection of scanned prints from a collection of photographs taken by the late Jim Taylor A number of years ago I was offered a large number of photographs taken by Jim Taylor, a transport photographer based in Huddersfield. The collection, 30,000 prints, 20,000 negatives – and copyright! – had been offered to me and one of the national transport magazines previously by a friend of Jim's, on behalf of Jim's wife. I initially turned them down, already having over 30,000 of my own prints filed away and taking space up. Several months later the prints were still for sale – at what was, apparently, the going rate. It was a lot of money and I deliberated for quite a while before deciding to buy them. I did however buy them directly from Jim’s wife and she delivered them personally – just to quash the occasional rumour from people who can’t mind their own business. Although some prints were sold elsewhere, particularly the popular big fleet stuff, I should have the negatives, unfortunately they came to me in a random mix, 1200 to a box, without any sort of indexing and as such it would be impossible to match negatives to prints, or, to even find a print of any particular vehicle. I have only ever looked at a handful myself unless I am scanning them. The prints are generally in excellent condition and I initially stored them in a bedroom without ever looking at any of them. In 2006 I built an extension and they had to be well protected from dust and moved a few times. Ultimately my former 6x7 box room office has become their (and my own work’s) permanent home.

I hope to avoid posting images that Jim had not taken his self, however should I inadvertently infringe another photographers copyright, please inform me by email and I will resolve the issue immediately. There are copyright issues with some of the photographs that were sold to me. A Flickr member from Scotland drew my attention to some of his own work amongst the first uploads of Jim’s work. I had a quick look through some of the 30 boxes of prints and decided that for the time being the safest thing for me to do was withdraw the majority of the earlier uploaded scans and deal with the problem – which I did. whilst the vast majority of the prints are Jims, there is a problem defining copyright of some of them, this is something that the seller did not make clear at the time. I am reasonably confident that I have since been successful in identifying Jims own work. His early work consists of many thousands of lustre 6x4 prints which are difficult to scan well, later work is almost entirely 7x5 glossy, much easier to scan. Not all of the prints are pin sharp but I can generally print successfully to A4 from a scan.

You may notice photographs being duplicated in this Album, unfortunately there are multiple copies of many prints (for swapping) and as I have to have a system of archiving and backing up I can only guess - using memory - if I have scanned a print before. The bigger fleets have so many similar vehicles and registration numbers that it is impossible to get it right all of the time. It is easier to scan and process a print than check my files - on three different PC’s - for duplicates. There has not been, nor will there ever be, any intention to knowingly breach anyone else's copyright. I have presented the Jim Taylor collection as exactly that-The Jim Taylor Collection- his work not mine, my own work is quite obviously mine.

Unfortunately, many truck spotters have swapped and traded their work without copyright marking it as theirs. These people never anticipated the ease with which images would be shared online in the future. I would guess that having swapped and traded photos for many years that it is almost impossible to control their future use. Anyone wanting to control the future use of their work would have been well advised to copyright mark their work (as many did) and would be well advised not to post them on photo sharing sites without a watermark as the whole point of these sites is to share the image, it is very easy for those that wish, to lift any image, despite security settings, indeed, Flickr itself, warns you that this is the case. It was this abuse and theft of my material that led me to watermark all of my later uploads. I may yet withdraw non-watermarked photos, I haven’t decided yet. (I did in the end)

To anyone reading the above it will be quite obvious that I can’t provide information regarding specific photos or potential future uploads – I didn’t take them! There are many vehicles that were well known to me as Jim only lived down the road from me (although I didn’t know him), however scanning, titling, tagging and uploading is laborious and time consuming enough, I do however provide a fair amount of information with my own transport (and other) photos. I am aware that there are requests from other Flickr users that are unanswered, I stumble across them months or years after they were posted, this isn’t deliberate. Some weekends one or two “enthusiasts” can add many hundreds of photos as favourites, this pushes requests that are in the comments section ten or twenty pages out of sight and I miss them. I also have notifications switched off, I receive around 50 emails a day through work and I don’t want even more from Flickr. Other requests, like many other things, I just plain forget – no excuses! Uploads of Jim’s photos will be infrequent as it is a boring pastime and I would much rather work on my own output.

WAR IN THE UNKNOWN REGIONS

After years of searching for the location of the sacred crystal planet of ILUM, members of the FOLLOWERS OF THE FORCE venture out of the known galaxy on an epic pilgrimage. To their horror, they found a planet stripped and cracked open by the EMPIRE, long plundered of its Kyber Crystals. An equatorial durasteel trench desiccated the planet, out of which still crawled Imperial troops. Furious at the planet's savaging, the pilgrims' call goes out for help and the FREEDOM FIGHTERS answer...

Bella: Look, You gotta give me some answers.

Edward: Yes... No... To get to the other side... 1.77245...

Bella: I don't need the square root of pi.

(an oldie but a goodie)

Levi has had a hard decision to make with all the lovely proposals......So he thanks all the ladies! (he kinda got a little bit of an ego from it too!) But he has one true love - He has been waiting for an answer from his best friend......will today be the day?

A lot of people talk about climate change. It has implications for our very way of life. But what should be driving all of this care is a concern for the people who are suffering. In many cases, people who deserve it least. These are the people that the Red Cross Red Crescent work with in Bangladesh and around the world.

These children might inherit a world worse than the one we were born into. In twenty years, I do not want to have to face them again, and say I did nothing to try to prevent that.

To see why I was in Bangladesh click here, or look at the previous or next photo. If you are interested, please view the series.

The years go by but still I heed the call,

In the depths of my dreams it echoes,

Stirring the wildness within my soul,

The never-ending siren song of surf.

I long for liquid diamonds on my face,

To gaze on wind blown white horses,

Lie like a lover on sensuous waves,

Glide silently on the face of chance.

What is this wild, innocent joy I feel?

Do I belong between sea and sky?

I ride the curving waves in ecstasy,

The song of surf singing in my veins!
