Overall the animation process wasn't too bad, I came across a few problems causing me starting again multiple times but once I got the ball rolling it didn't take me too long. If I had more time I would have worked on the skinning of the model a lot more and focused on making it smoother.I think I would have liked to change the camera angle as when it gets in front of the man it is harder to notice his movements.
I did have quite a few problems with the left hand unbinding itself which is why in the animation his left hand does not move.
I am quite happy with the outcome considering the time it took and feel if I were to start from scratch it would be a lot better considering I now know where most of my problems were caused.

Note: Had to downsize the quality to be able to fit in up-loader. Also Excuse my terrible knowledge of Adobe After effects.
This is my final animation for the module, I think that I achieved a good looking Model and Rig which gave me the ability to create this piece of work. The animation follows closely to the original clip it were based on and follows the 12 rules of animation closely. I believe the timing for the body moments are close to realism and the with weight bends and deforms to the situation its put through at all points in the animation. If i could do this animation again i would fix up the rig a little more so there's more flexibility in the spinal areas and i also would touch up the models quality too.

The animation did not followed strictly the storyboard because of some negative reference that the ending was to be expected and not original thus the box took an important role in the animation since it ate the character and gave the illusion of repeat, since the animation started and ended in almost the same scene of the little shiny box. Except the ending that was fully renewed some cinematography was added in order to convey the inner feelings of the character such as curiosity and suspicion and for that the close-up was essential. For the first half the movement is fluent in a resting time pace as the character walks proudly and carelessly in the street but as soon as he spots the weird box lying in the ground he becomes frustrated and since he did not wanted for anyone to spot him in the process of examining and his attempt to pick it up the time between the frames became shorter and the movement quicker.
For the animation and the character in purpose no facial expression were displayed and that made a huge impact in the corse of the creation of this animation. A lot of thinking and research were established in order to convey the inner feelings of the character. The character design was inspired from earlier times and someone could even find resemblance in Tim Burton's characters are there are all stretched out and slim in order to produce the feeling of depression and proudness at the same time. The eyes were inspired from the stop motion animation Coraline and that makes it even more creepy and for even more dark atmosphere to be added the black and white combined with one color was necessary.
The next part was about the movement and the principal of animation were examined thoughtfully as far the research in the silent cinema helped in the process. The hand that was placed behind the characters back was inspired from an action that elderly people tend to do and especially from the main character of Agatha Christie's books Hercule Poirot. That gave automatically the sense of proudness combined with the arrogant and at the same time astringent way of walking the personality of the character was well delivered. Also the posture of the character as he stops to examine the box was elegant as he was preparing for some photo shooting. His inability in the end to not be able to lift the little box affected his pride and released his frustrated feeling. When the box finally flew of the ground some exaggeration in the movement of his knees and fingers were added to emphasise the feeling of fear that captured the character.
In the end it would be necessary to add more frames of the box lying in the ground to emphasise the action that was previously accelerated executed in order for the audience to fully understand the animation and it might be worked more effectively if the process of devoir was in slow motion, but nevertheless the outcome of the animation was satisfactory.
