I was inspired by the Rotoball project on Art Education 2.0 to improve upon last year's animation assignment.
This year, all of my sixth graders will be invited to play this game of animated hot potato. The rules are very simple but I knew I had to illustrate them to make the challenge understood. These three examples were drawn by me, myself, and Chris Ware.
P.s., If any of you illustrators, animators, arteests, et cetera would like to participate, please let me know. I'll send you the guidelines and we can surprise the kids by sneaking your cartoons into the show!

AnimAction animation artist Deepak Sharma assists the Bangalore teachers with their first animated film. The pressure was on. Not only did the teachers have to produce a film in one day, but in the following two days they'd train 60 local students with the skills they just learned. No worries, the student films are great.
