1. Music note animation
2. I found the picture of the black music notes and duplicated the layer. then each layer i made a new note a a different color, and then copied that layer and continued to do the same for the next note. Then i went to the animation window and put a new layer on each time.
3. this was a pretty easy animation, but i think it looks okay for a static animation.

This is my final animation. There is much critical feedback I can give on it. The walk cycle at the beginning is off. There is no weight to the steps and feels as though the character is floating. Doesn't help that the shadows didn't render out underneath him, which makes it much worse than it actually is. The movements are fluid either, and have no comedic snap to them. The facial animation is basic. The sound syncs up well, however due to lack of blendshapes for emotions and more complex facial shapes, the animation is rather bland. With the camera moving, it takes away from the facial animation more than it should, which does not help since the animation is bad and already bland, thus making the animation feel inferior and boring to the audience. The light is okay for the majority of the scene, however for some parts, the character's body parts become blown out as it is far too close to the lighting sources. If I were to do it again, more time would be implemented for the module. More dynamic key frames for key moments would be applied, with the use of the graph editor more to help make the animation fluid and snappy when it needs to be.

Malware Warfare Game Trailer
The trailer is made up by 76 hand drawn frames that portray the main idea of the game, and also that shows a little bit of the gameplay and atmosphere.
The main 'characters' are the explosive virus, with its quirky personality, and its enemy, the laser beam, a massive defensive force for the PC.
Tiger Running
This animation consists of 18 frames that show the anatomy of a tiger running.

> Les ateliers
Le village comprend huit cabanes, chaque cabane comptant un atelier animé par un éducateur. Les enfants, par groupe de 12-15, se répartissent dans les cabanes.
Au top départ, les ateliers commencent et au bout de 25 minutes, le jingle retentit, c’est le moment de changer de cabane ! Les enfants parcourent donc tous les ateliers du village sur une journée.

Disney California Adventure Park in Anahem, CA. I'm not sure if this building still exists since the renovation. Pencil and watercolor.
The first animation I did together with Issey. She helped sculpt the head, and directed the action (snot eating, hair coming to life, swallowing the man). StopMotion Recorder app on iPhone 4, about 45 mins work. Pity I forgot to remove the screwdriver.
Boundary Crossings is a two-week institute that explores digital animation and an expanded notion of the screen. The traditional boundaries between live action, animation, and images are no longer fixed and hybrid moving images continue to change and morph with the development of digital technologies.
2013 Theme: Cyber Folklore
This year’s participants rethink folklore as a framework for animation that reflects not only national and ethnic traditions but also the new acquired and mixed cultural backgrounds of a generation that came of age around computers. Artistic movements such as Balinese puppet theatre, Eastern-European animation, or Japanese Micropop are investigated as examples of the wide range of possible interpretations of folklore. The main purpose of the Institute is to provide a platform for artists to develop animations that embrace diverse traditions as well as new forms.
About BOUNDARY CROSSINGS
PNCA’s biennial Boundary Crossings aims to foster innovation and creativity by exploring animated spaces, expanded screens, and cinema. This two-week institute embraces the hybrid moving image by combining digital technology, fine art practices, and critical theory.
With a faculty of internationally renowned teachers, scholars, and practitioners, the two -week institute includes hands-on making, intensive tutorials, skills-based learning, lectures and screenings, and theory and practice sessions. The goal is to provide an intensive experience of being on the cutting edge of animation and fine arts. Boundary Crossings culminates with a public exhibition of animated installations created during the two-week Institute.

So I have worked so, so, so hard on my animation project that i definately thought it was worth a picture. A picture to remind myself of the commitment put into it. A commitment were i put aside: Food shopping! Friday & Saturday Nights out! Sleep!
I have enjoyed it so far and am looking forward to the final outcome!
Right. I'm going for a beer in Shoreditch.
