I once heard someone say that the internet is neither good nor evil - it's how you use it.
We can fight it by saying - it's dangerous, self-serving and fuels narcissism, but ultimately, it permeates every aspect of our lives - got homework or research assignment? Internet. Wanna know the latest about your favourite star? Internet. Want speedy news? Internet. Harbouring some sort of artistic inclination? Go on the internet. Fascinated by people you love or loathe? you know the answer : INTERNET.
There's a new theory that we are ALL unconsciously creating our very own "BRANDS", manufacturing an image we intend to project, even if you are not "active" online, you are still creating your own brand - by telling people what you like and dislike and by professing your principles or beliefs.
If someone is handed a gun, and that gun fires and kills someone, whose fault is that? The gun? or the person who fired it?
The internet is NOT the horribly dangerous element that threatens us in this tech obsessed world, the danger lies in the people who lurk about in it.
For those who pass by this humble photography journal and leave generous feedback, thank you. For those who stand behind the sidelines waiting to pounce and pose any threats...

Where does my heart lie?
ANGST - an acute but unspecific feeling of anxiety; usually reserved for philosophical anxiety about the world or about personal freedom.
Again, with the unnecessarily "deep" (HAH) title.
My friends and I did some lightpainting in an unused room. It was great good fun. This is me in an angsty pose because we are college students and therefore emotionally deep and have such great and well-thought commentary on the world in general.

Hello, hello, hello.
Today I tell about the relief of Angst and in doing so I will also explain, confidentially, about magic belly buttons and why you cannot have one.
So, you see. In Gravesend are super-heroes, quite a lot. Also Trolls. Some Gonks, but not enough. Sometimes, super heroes feel Angst and want to jump off the bridge. Some super heroes, if they jump off the bridge, it will not make any difference and this makes them so miserable they want to jump off the bridge. This is called a Vicious Circle and it is, yes.
OK, so I give all my super heroes a Mentor, who might have a magic belly button and who might not, who is to know ? Only Smarties have the answer. We are getting there.
As it happens, a super hero has heard about magic belly buttons and is feeling Envy. He consults his mentor, who does have a magic belly button and together they bask in its warming glow.
"O, tell me ! What does it do ?" cries the super hero, for he must know.
"Many things !" chortles the Troll-Mentor."For example, it defies logic..."
"Gasp !" gasps the super hero. "Explain, with an example, that I might better understand..."
"Well..." says the Troll-Mentor, considering."See that I have two perfect buttocks, not uncommon amongst Trolls...."
"Yes, yes, and that, also, I envy..."
"My magic belly button ensures that each buttock is more perfect than the other..."
"Gasp !"
"But it does not allow me to fly faster than a speeding bullet...no, not even to fly..."
"Feeling better, already !" says the super hero. "I no longer want to jump off the bridge !"
"See ? It works. HiYo Silver, Away !"
And he is gone.
So you see, you cannot have one because...well, because. I am so sorry.
