Skyline park in Haliburton, an overview of the village of Haliburton located on highway 118 east outside of Haliburton.
In 2014, I visited Guizhou, China. Nearby the world famous Huangguoshu Waterfall ,there is a Yinlianzhuitan waterfall that is less well known but to me it is a marvelous scene. Yinlianzhuitan Waterfall is located at the upper left of the water stone forest in Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area. The waterfall is more than ten meters high, with a funnel -shaped upper part and a trough-shaped melting pool at the bottom. Visitors can take a close look at the stone road next to the waterfall and hear the extremely powerful roar of the waterfall (銀鏈墜潭瀑布) 这个瀑布只有十余米高，上面成漏斗形，底部是槽状溶潭。在潭沿面上隆起的石包，象一张张下覆的莲叶，交错搭连，河水在每一张叶面上均匀铺开，纵情漫流，象千千万万条大大小小的银链，轻音嚷嚷地缓缓坠入溶潭，永远没完没了。三岔河水被钙华滩分成串串珠链，坠入深潭，是黄果树瀑布群中最秀美的瀑布。

Arrowhead Provincial Park is located north of Huntsville, Ontario, Canada, and is part of the Ontario Parks system. A portion of the shoreline of Glacial Lake Algonquin is visible in the park. Arrowhead is known for the spectacular geological phenomenon known as “Big Bend”. Created from the years of glacial river sediment, build up, and erosion, the East River “glacial delta” has become a large attraction for the park.
Fenland Trail is an easy going, very level and well maintained walking trail in the Village of Banff, Alberta, Canada in the Banff National Park. Fenland is a nature trail and picnic area destination located in a wetland environment called a fen. A fen is a wetland marsh feed primarily by groundwater. It is a natural sanctuary for plants to thrive like sedges, moss and cat tails; trees like aspen, white spruce and poplar and wildlife like birds, elk and deer.
This beautiful historic railway bridge has the gorgeous backdrop of the mountains with the Bow River running right through it.
You can also see the Three Sisters from the bridge. This is a popular spot for engagement and wedding photos so plan to go there for sunrise to avoid running into people.
In the early 1980’s, an interpretive trail existed within Larch Island. Forty years later, the tour no longer exists, but seven old trail markers still remain, decaying in the landscape. This story tour will make use of those seven trail markers, and re-engage them with new stories. The backdrop is Ha Ling Peak.
Nestled among mature beech and podocarp forest, these pools of deep, clear water flowing into the Makarora River offer a moment of tranquillity. This is one of our best short walks.
Yinlianzhuitan waterfall that is located at the upper left of the water stone forest in Tianxing Scenic Area. In the Huangguoshu Waterfalls, it does not win by high, nor is it wide or astonishing, but with its intricate mood and the sound of weeping waterfalls, people don't want to leave when they see it. The top of this waterfall is funnel-shaped, and the bottom is a trough-shaped melting pool. The stone wraps that bulge along the pond are like lotus leaves covering each other. The river water spreads evenly on each leaf surface, indulging in the flow, like thousands of large and small silver chains. , Yelled softly and slowly fell into the melting pool, never ending. Rocky mountains are the main scenery in the Canadian Rockies. In the previous image, I focused rather on the river stream with the rockies as a backdrop. This image, the mountain is the subject. The few people on the river bank showed the size of dimension of the Rockies. The small island full with tall pine tress sitting in the middle of the river in the foreground did not distract the details and texture of the mountains.
Emerald Peak is a 2,701-metre (8,862-foot) mountain summit located in Yoho National Park, in the Canadian Rockies of British Columbia, Canada. Its nearest higher peak is Mount Carnarvon, 1.7 km (1.1 mi) to the northwest. Both are part of the President Range which is a subset of the Waputik Mountains. Emerald Peak is visible from Emerald Lake, rising 1,256-metre (4,121-foot) above the northwest shore.
The Kicking Horse River is in the Canadian Rockies of southeastern British Columbia, Canada. The river was named in 1858, when James Hector, a member of the Palliser Expedition, reported being kicked by his packhorse while exploring the river. Hector named the river and the associated pass as a result of the incident. The Kicking Horse Pass, which connects through the Rockies to the valley of the Bow River, was the route through the mountains subsequently taken by the Canadian Pacific Railway when it was constructed during the 1880s. The railway's Big Hill and associated Spiral Tunnels are in the Kicking Horse valley and were necessitated by the steep rate of descent of the river and its valley.
Follow the previous image, here is a pano view that is stitching multiple images. Because the images are for pano stitching, due to the location, it was impossible to setup my tripod. I shot these image handheld my camera and cannot be adapted long exposure. As a results, the final image was lack of water silky effect but a wild angle perspective.
A solitary tree has grown up all alone on Lake Wanaka, backdropped by the beautiful Southern Alps. . Lake Wanaka - The Lone tree, New Zealand. Mt Aspiring National Park is a very unique place by world standards, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Area. It is made up of soaring mountain peaks, 100's of spectacular glaciers, lush beech forest, braided rivers, alpine meadows and is home to a diverse variety of native New Zealand flora and fauna.
Sankai Waterfall is located in Otaki Ward (formerly Otaki Village ) in Date City, Hokkaido . Drop 10m in three steps. The place name of "Otaki" is derived from this waterfall [1] . The area around the waterfall is maintained as "Mikai Taki Park". There is a spring called "Kanro-hosui" near the waterfall, and many local residents and other people come to collect it. It is also a famous place for autumn colors.
Instead of traditional camels ride, we see the 4x4 rides in the Sahara Desert, Errachidia, Erfoud, Morocco. Personally, I don't like it although it becomes popular.
Taken on May 31, 2015, while my beloved English wife Theresa Jane Brown and I were visiting friends on the beautiful island of Evia, Greece.
The island of Evia lies along the Eastern coast of Central Greece, and is accessible to the mainland via two bridges, an old wooden bridge and a contemporary suspension bridge. There are also frequent ferries to several parts of the island. It is 175 km long and is the second largest island in Greece, and the third largest in the Eastern Mediterranean.

This is the first scene of Asahi-dake that I have seen after stepping out from the robway station. Mount Asahi (旭岳 Asahi-dake) is a mountain located in the town of Higashikawa, Hokkaido and the tallest mountain in the Japanese island of Hokkaido. It is part of the Daisetsuzan Volcanic Group of the Ishikari Mountains, it is located in the northern part of the Daisetsuzan National Park.
The mountain is popular with hikers in the summer and can be easily reached from Asahidake Onsen via Asahidake Ropeway. During winter, the mountain is open for use by skiers and snowboarders.
Sugatami Pond, directly below the peak, is famous for its reflection of the peaks, snow, and steam escaping from the volcanic vents. It should be noted that the weather is unsteady and can change rapidly.Even if it is sunny when you start to climb the mountain, it is not unusual that the weather will suddenly change and the vision can become blurry.
You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you'll discover will be wonderful. What you'll discover is yourself.
