It's necessary for us and our backpacks, as the African heat that is currently engulfing the old continent is unbearable.
Have a great weekend, everyone.
Un pò di riposo é necessario, per noi e per i nostri zaini, dato che l'ondata di caldo africano che sta attualmente investendo il Vecchio Continente è insopportabile.
Buon fine settimana a tutti ! Buon Ferragosto.

To be honest I wasn’t expecting so much grain, anyway I’ll probably try FP4 next time.
This is a pano I took during my week in Leogang. The whole week, the weather was almost too good in the sense that there was blue sky all day and not a single cloud in the sky which would have added more interest to the image. Anyway, I really like how the setting sun is illuminating the mountain peaks with its warm light. Hope you like it too!
Japanese alpine cherry
Probably due to the weather environment(especially in winter), this tree was spread low.
I think this is the last time I will see cherry blossoms this year.
ミネザクラ(タカネザクラ)。おそらくは冬の厳しい気象環境の影響で低く広がるように育っていました。おそらく今年最後の花見でしょう。

The Alpine ecosystem is warming up and coming alive. Higher up there was flowers pushing up through the snow.
Finally got to a low light pollution sky, and the result is lovely. Finding Polaris was hard in the sea of stars that was visible! There's a million of these images out there, but I'm proud this is mine.
Also the first time I tried something other than DeepSkyStacker, and I am delighted: Siril.

A pasque flower blooms at 10,300'/ 3100 m near Brainard Lake in the Front Range of the southern Rockies. Its lowland cousins were flowering 7 weeks ago. The populations differ greatly in height, a common adaptation to mountain weather. The high elevation populations are shorter, lowering exposure to high winds and keeping the flower closer to the warmer soil surface.
Il bellissimo laghetto Coldai, sul massiccio del monte Civetta, ha dei colori straordinari... ma ancora più bello diventa quando il cielo vi si specchia e aggiunge particolari suggestivi

This proud Alpine Ibex is the only adult male in the group at our zoo. There are other males but they are juveniles. In the wild the males would only stay with the females during mating season. For the rest of the year the males live in separate "bacholor groups".
I add two more photos of this ibex in the comments.
qui in Ticino oltre ai bei laghi, le palme e il clima temperato per gradevoli vacanze per chi viene dal freddo nord...., godiamo anche di scenari alpini di tutto rispetto e ben variegati, dalle vallate aperte e ampi orizzonti a valli piu chiuse e dai ripidi e scoscesi pendii e pareti come ad esempio la Verzasca, qui davanti al mio obbiettivo: alle spalle dell'elegante scoglio del Sassariente immerso tra pini e abeti, svettano le cime del Monte Zucchero, della Marcia (pareti verticali in centro alla vallata) e via dicendo;
