This Slaty Skimmer was hanging onto this leaf for dear life in the wind. It was blowing hard enough I had to pump the ISO a little bit. Opened the aperture a little bit as well to get the majority of the details.

Hooker Valley Track leading to the Hooker Glacier with Mount Aoraki / Cook ( Aotearoa - New Zealand) and the milkway. It was taken a week back on a workshop hosted by Rachel Gillespie and Jarred Wilson.

To keep chain from jumping off the sprocket I made this 5 in dia guide plate to slip on in place of what would normally be a smaller sprocket in the cluster. In this photo the i.d. has been cut partially through but with a bit left on to help center the disk while I mill the o.d.

Here i have tried to capture a centered alignment image of the high lights in the college canteen, I used a low ISO to achieve the warm lighting, and a shutter speed of 1/400. If i attempt to take this photograph again i will try to get he leading lies straighter, as I think the photo is slightly off.
