SILVERLAKE VINEYARD sits along Thailand’s eastern seaboard where the long, dry growing season, the strong coastal sunshine,and the vineyard’s lakesidesetting of rich soil and pure water, make for ideal growing conditions for a few different grape varieties that make up the SILVERLAKE Wines such as Shiraz, Chenin Blanc and Colombard.

I'd edited this image ages ago but as more often than not I don't get things right first time - and that's okay 😁
I'm trying with 'H' when he gets furstrated that he's not good enough or didn't get things right first time (must get that from his Mom 😲🙈) that it's normal in fact even a good thing because we get as many chances as we need to get it right - there's no pressures or time limits; just as long as he does his best, - if it doesn't work out, just begin again with all that you've learnt from before and it doesn't matter when you get it right when you try your best.....

Once again I am sat here wondering where that year went, it can't be Christmas again surely?
Another trawl through the adventure archives looking for any image that was a bit Christmassy and I found this one lurking.
I had the very great pleasure to have a prolonged adventure with very good company to Skye this year, stopping off in the Lakes and Yorkshire. The group came about through Flickr, which is the best thing about Flickr, not only is it a showcase for images but it is a proper community.
I have been fortunate to meet up with a number of other great photographers this year and hopefully will do so again next year.

A small Darkwater Executor team had been sent to obtain any available weapons intel at Site Hotel Foxtrot. In order to do so, the compound had experienced a surveliance "power-down". And that's just what happened...

Fitting the wave patterns as much as possible was the biggest challenge
Frogs arrived in our pond more than two weeks ago during a brief mild spell. Since then, the weather has been freezing with overnight frosts, but the frogs have stayed put in spite of the cold. This morning really does feel more like a spring temperature and once again the frogs are activated and busy with their annual activities. It's a topsy turvy season but I hope their newly laid spawn will be successful this time. Photographing frogs through plastic mesh netting [ for protection from cats ] is fraught with difficulty. I did just manage a snap this morning but getting the camera through a narrow gap without disturbing the frog requires patience and a steady hand. This shot is clearly quite an enlargement but I only managed the one snap before froggy submerged. I enjoyed the reflection of the adjacent palm tree at the back of the frog's head.
