Jeff Bonner, a biologist in Pampa, took these photos of the landscape following the recent wildfires. He stated that these photos couldn’t even begin to capture the devastation of what an 800,000 acre fire leaves in it’s path.
Yesterday I went to Strathewen to meet with Wes and Paul for Aftermath, a new project about recovery from natural disasters. Wes spoke of building a home after the one they were living in was destroyed, Paul brought me up to speed with the Tree Project and I saw many of Marion's glowing letterboxes

The old, disused Methodist chapel on Lambert Street has burned down. Accident, malice or greed? Unknown (other than by the perpetrator) as of now.

Here's Peter after our overnight flight from Chennai to Bangkok. One night on the train and the second on a plane had its effect. We had to wait for our room at the guest house so he crashed in the lounge.
