Making it clear that not a single seat must r.emain vacant, the Supreme Court on 14th October 08 directed all Central educational ins~itutions (CEls) to fill the vacant seats in Other Backward Classes category from among the general category candidates by October .

A new category was created in the name of 'waiting list' and their wait was never addressed judiciously but by the whim and fancy of the administration. JNU has admitted that 29 seats meant for the_OBC category remained vacant. Now the court order is clear and it must be filled with able general category students before the end of the month of October 08. No politicking is allowed but the implementation of Supreme Court order. .
At this hour it is pertinent how Youth For Eqt!3lity struggled with the Union of lndla and with all political parties with steely determination. It may inspire many Ph.D. thesis how YFE stood against all political parties and prevailed as well. .

A powerful tragedy unfolded in front of the naked eyes of millions of able young men and women of India, as the old stinking bug called quota again resur;aced with a more monstrous form. The medical fraternity showed the world its resilience under the leadership of AIIMS and came to the street of Delhi. In New Deihl few meters away from the Rashtrapati Bhawan and a stone's throvt from the Prime Minister's Ottice on 9th of May 2006 ,water cannon was forced onto the medical students with a speed prohibited by the United Nations Human Rights Commission and World Health Organization. These poor doctors have no one but their stars to thank for the fact that the demonous spout missed their throats and necks or else they would have have had to pay with their lives for the folly of legitimately demonstrating for their rightful demands. The mantra of the rally was to show the strength of the youth of India to the political class and to stop the politicians from dividing the society on the basis of CASTE and RELIGION. The public support that came out for the rally was extremely heartening and effusive. Nearly 40,000 people from across the country participated in this historic rally. It was from the platform of this rally that several institution.<; of India announ red their decisions to organize hunger strikes in their respecilve institutes. JNU and liT-. It was this time that the YFE leadership decided to approach the Supreme Court through various petitions covering all the issues to challenge, the political motives of the Parliament. YFE's Judicial Activism started just after the hiscork hunger strike at the AliMS, New Delhi. .
YFE representatives met nearly 700 dignitades which includes members of Mandai Cqmmission (2nd Backward Classes Commission) and Kaka Kalelkar Commission (1st Backward Classes Comnlission) to build up the cases against the OBC reservation policy of the Government. All the senior lawyers of legal profession were contacted by YFE representative to convince them to take our cases at the Supreme Court. YFE representatives are constamly tracking the developments and operating accordingly. YFE has filed a series of petitions through different organizations and individuals covering all aspects of Reservation at the Supreme Court. .
On 1st of December 2006 we have filed a petition no. 269/2006 in the name of RDA, AIIMS & RDA, MAMC Vs. .
Union of India challenging the caste based reservation.· Senior Advocate Harish Salve and K.K. Venugopal argued the case. .

On Wednesday, November 19, 2014, Admissions Counselor, Wesley Whiteside, from Syracuse University (SU), came to speak to Miss Orioli’s Career Development class. Wesley spoke to the 12 students in room 205 at Utica Academy of Science Charter School from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Wesley spoke about the general admissions process into colleges and universities, the admissions process into SU, the activities and events SU provides, and the importance of doing well academically, personally, and socially in high school, college, and beyond. After the period ended at 10:58 a.m., Wesley and some of the students went into another classroom for additional questions and discussion. Wesley stayed until 11:30 a.m. and the students were attentive and engaged the entire time.

This is an event that began 8 years ago in order to ensure that all 12th grade high school students in our district receive access to college representatives and experts in post-secondary preparation. This event is different than a college fair in the sense that presenters are given a classroom from 8am-12pm to provide students with an in depth 35-40 minute presentation on Financial Aid, Admissions Process, SAT/ACT, military enlistment, etc. A total of 28 workshops were offered, where students selected the 5 that best fit their needs/interests.
The annual Elizabeth Public Schools Senior Seminar event was held on October 21, 2017 at John E. Dwyer Academy which was open to all 12th grade students in the district. From there, we act as the “middleman,” with respect to the addiction rehabilitation admissions process. We do our research, deal with the insurance companies, and coordinate with treatment facilities so that you don’t have to. Easton Alcohol Treatment Centers takes the headache out of having to go through the hoops of the process.
