Red Double-Decker Bus - The Nowhere Omnibus Service, by Pete Johnson, Steve Double, Toby Slater - United Kingdom

The Nowhere Omnibus is simultaneously a piece of interactive art and Black Rock City's first genuine public transport infrastructure, providing a regular, reliable, timetabled route around the playa, to the Man and the Temple every day of Burning Man. It will take the form of a red, double-decker London Routemaster bus, complete with bus stops around the Esplanade and visits to Burning Man art exhibits.

Graffiti - Art or Vandalism? (San Francisco)

This giant piece by AMAZE appeared at the famous corner of Haight street and Ashbury street, on the windows of the old (now permanently closed) GAP store. It was in fact a mural commissioned by the new store owner and painted on June 8th, but unfortunately it was cleaned-up a few days later on July 14th, 2007 following complaints from neighboring businesses.

It looks like the car was vandalized, but it's not the case: in fact this car belongs to an unrelated graffiti artist who just parked it there by chance (perfect for a good photo)!.

This photo appears for a brief moment in the Banksy movie Exit Through The Gift Shop (a documentary about the Street Art movement).

This is a Nihang Singh, the descendants of Guru Gobind Singh's army.

Sikh traditionally allow their hair to grow naturally as a symbol of respect for the perfection of God's creation. Their long hair is covered by a turban. For more information, go to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kesh_(Sikhism).

The Golden Temple is the most sacred temple for the Sikh religion.

Looking like an army of ghosts, an immense crowd of naked Naga Babas covered in Vibhuti sacred ash heads towards the Ganges river at the Kumbh Mela 2013 Hindu festival near Allahabad (India).

Kumbh Mela is the largest festival on Earth, taking place once every 12 years, with more than 50 million Hindu pilgrims gathering to pray and bathe in the holy Ganges river.

Thousands of Naga Sadhus (naked Hindu Holy men, with their bodies covered with wood ash) walk at dawn toward the bank of the Ganges river at the Sangam where they will take the Holy Dip. The Triveni Sangam is the confluence of the Yamuna and the Ganga (Ganges) rivers, and this is the holiest place to take the ritual baths during the Kumbh Mela. Also called Naga babas, those naked sadhus are wanderers with no possessions.

This was the morning of Vasant Panchami Snan day, an important religious date for Hindu people and one of the most auspicious mornings for taking the holy bath in the Ganges river.
