I installed a 9mm static rope at the upper window of one of the buildings, and went rappelling down the facade. I then let a few other rock climbers do it with my climbing harness.

The controversial Wall Street mock-up was designed by Otto Von Danger and built by a DPW crew.

Kumbh Mela is the largest festival on Earth, taking place once every 12 years, with more than 50 million Hindu pilgrims gathering to pray and bathe in the holy Ganges river.

Thousands of Hindu devotees gather on the bank of the Ganges river at the Sangam where they will take the Holy Dip. The Triveni Sangam is the confluence of the Yamuna and the Ganga (Ganges) rivers, and this is the holiest place to take the ritual baths during the Kumbh Mela.

Soma, created by the Flaming Lotus Girls, captures the essence of a neuron. Spinning balls of fire act as nuclei within the dodecahedron cell bodies. Dendrites extend up into the sky and reach down to the earth, emitting constant flame and color changing light. Along her axon, extend eighteen individually controlled fire effects across the stainless steel arch with sequenced LEDs on the underside.

Llama Carcass (Argentina)

I'm sure this is from a llama (not a goat), since it has a very long neck, and there was a fresh llama skin nearby.

This didn't seem to bother the baby llama (cria) that was resting under it.

In the high lands of south america, llama are livestock, they are just used the same way cows or sheep are used in other places. They cannot use cows or sheep there because those animals cannot live above 3,000 m (10,000 feet) elevation. So they use llamas.

Llamas produce wool, and they are eaten as meat, just like cows and other animals we routinely eat. There are plenty of llamas, they have been domesticated for thousands of years and are not threatened by extinction. They are just considered "livestock".

I took this photo in a small farm very high on Route 40 northbound on the way to Abra El Acay (Acay Pass, 4,895 m / 16,059 ft).
