Mondo Spider by the Mondo Spider Project
This is a giant mecanical spider, each of the 8 legs is independtly controled by a hydraulic system powered by a diesel engine. The driver controls are simple: two levers, just like a tank or a bulldozer. It can run forward and backward, and turn in any direction (a bit like a tank, it can turn on its central axis without moving). I was a bit disapointed that it cannot walk sideways :)

Old Soviet T-34 85 tank (probably captured from Egypt in the 6 Days war in 1976) converted into a kid's playground (Israel)
I climbed inside the tank, and it's "fun", you can manipulate the controls to turn the gun turret!
That's what I call "culture of war"...

Daryl's amazing railroad tattoo (San Francisco)
Train tracks, switches and tunnels cover his entire body, front and back, from head to toes (litterally), in a perfectly symetrical and seamless pattern. He designed the tattoo and said it took 200 hours of work to realise the work.
Daryl spent many years of his life "freight train hopping", which involves countless days of walking long miles along desert tracks.

Eroded rock formations that look like whipped cream, in Honey Valley between Göreme and Üçhisar in Cappadocia (Turkey)
The eroded rock formations of Cappadocia look like sandstone, but it is actually volcanic tuff, a type of rock consisting of consolidated volcanic ash that originated from ancient volcanic eruptions in the region.

Firefighter Woman with Bullhorn - Sara
When the Flaming Lotus Girls were lighting-up their giant Soma sculpture, the crowd was very quite, very silent (like in a church!). Sara popped up and shouted very loud with her bullhorn "Is that a Quite Zone?" - I found it hilarious and everyone cracked-up!

On the left, Groucho Marx Art Car - Incognito Mobile
It is a representation of the floating head of Groucho Marx - The car's name is Incognito Mobile (NOT Mr. Potatohead!). Incognito was built by Kathleen and a team: Ericka (Sharpie). Trevor (Spankie Pie) (who were the primary master welders). Others involved: Tye (Uncle) , Sherri (Ivy), Arlon (light man extrodinaire), TJ, Kimberly (Harmony) and Lucy (Diamond).

House with Hindu symbols: Swastika and Star of David (India)
It may shock some people to see those two symbols together, but in fact that are old Hindu symbols unrelated to Judaism and to the German Nazi's. It is common to see them together in India, especially on Hindu temples.
In Hinduism, the Swastika is a auspicious / good luck symbol, and the Shatkona (star of david) represents the union of both the male and female form.
In fact those symbols date from the beginning of civilization, and they have been found in ancient sites in all corners of the world. Their meanings vary with each culture.
