i recently learned to add make-up to photos and this is my first attempt.
I added some eyeshadow and lip gloss.
it's kind of fun once you get the hang of it.
Mrs. Turbo does her best impression of a skunk.
The forecast indicates I'll have snowfall in May.

I received a comment from a friend that by adding contrast the photo will become more appealing and will gain in depth.
To tell you my friends, lately I have something against post processing, and am not sure how come or why. It must be something on a deeper level - and if you ask me is a temporary thing that I have become such purist :) Feel free to give your opinion about it - is the original one more appealing to you or this one where I added contrast to it?

Macro photo taken on my way to work, on a frosty day. The ground was beautiful because it had a slight layer of frost on it. I shot a flower standing out, backlight with the morning light.
In terms of post-processing, I used darktable to pull the highlights toward blue and the shadows to yellow. I also added some local contrast enhancement and edited the curves. I saved several versions of the reconstructed photo with different amount of local contrast enhancement and more or less dark curves. Then, in the Gimp, I overlayed the different versions with layer masks. I segmented the flower to use a versus with a strong local contrast enhancement. For the distant background, I use a version with little local contrast enhancement. In the foreground, at the bottom of the image, I use a strong local contrast enhancement, and curve editing that makes shadows darker.
The bokeh is natural this time, as a I have a new camera with a faster lens.
I love happening upon a lovely sunset in a place where it is easy to stop. I took this shot almost a year ago. I had spent the day in beautiful countryside and was on my way home with lots of good shots already taken when I was able to stop and add a lot more.

Take a nature shot and write a haiku to go with it.
More E200 & E400s are arriving at Citybus all ex London stock to compliment the large collection already amassed.
Here 476 one of an earlier examples of the E400 heads up past Devonport Park on a 5 from Saltash back to the City in some early Spring sunshine.
Added a cobbled stone pathway now and also extended the front door path to the end of the plate. I think that's enough... haha... thought of adding a duck on the pond or something... but feeling lazy...
Added some semi-customs to the store. These are the current in stock shades I dyed up before we moved.

The turnaround time is a little slow while we catch up on commissions but since we will be working on wigs full time, its going to be a lot quicker in future c:

While I have been shooting, the weather has precluded setting up my little studio. I'm working through a few thousand shots, but I'm also reviewing the many shots I've filed.
Here is one of my favourties from last May's "Junco Blizzard". The evident halation around the bird occurred naturally.
