Actually, I'm 99% sure they are Richard Serra pieces being transported from the exhibition that just came down at the MoMA (which was only a block or so away from where the trucks were sitting). Some guy at one of the restaurants right there said the trucks had been there, unattended, all day long.
An actually readable list:

Day 63 Year 2: Part of a class assignment...any input would be really appreciated! The subject of the assignment is time....so I really didn't want to just take pictures of clocks or something like that...let me know what you think?
It seems this building will no longer be actually used as presidential palace. It may become site for a new university. Travel to Georgia in october 2013

Calvin Harris apparently doesn’t appreciate being called by his stage name. Though we all know him by, well, Calvin Harris — his actual name is Adam Wiles and that’s what he prefers. Especially among his close friends and family.
“No one calls me Calvin,” the superstar DJ is quoted in a new report. “It’s horrible and it’s not my name. You might as well be calling me Mr. Blobby.”
We wouldn’t say it’s “horrible,” but alright then…
“At the start of my career people were meeting me for the first time and I let it slide. It was sort of a nickname.”
But, when a girlfriend was calling him by his stage name, he thought it was taken too far…
“I was like, ‘I’m sorry this is ridiculous. You’re speaking to my alter ego.‘”
Understandably so. Of course, it’s an easy slip up considering Calvin Harris is a typical sounding name. We know Skrillex isn’t Sonny Moore’s name, just like Marshmello is definitely not the name of the masked sugary treat.
Next time you see Adam, make sure you take it easy on his stage name!

Been a while. Nikon D200, 80-200mm f/2.8 ED AF Nikkor (slot drive AF) at 145mm. Manual exposure, 1/1000th @ f/2.8, ISO 200. Jpeg only (no raw). White balance preset at "cloudy." Slight contrast s-curve added in post, also 5% boost in saturation in post. This was a quickly shot assignment for the paper: My first test shot has a time stamp of 5:03 p.m., the shot above has a timestamp of 5:08 p.m., and my final jpeg was shot a few seconds later, also at 5:08 p.m. So show up, make a test shot to set exposure, then shoot 43 jpegs worth of action for a mere five minutes, stop by the statistician desk to get names of the players, and then I'm on to the next thing (school board meeting).
Actually sunflower pollen fallen on a sunflower leaf, probably in some sort of Poisson distribution (Nature's Patterns).
I'm guessing that those of you who live here recognized this long before this point in the sequence...
Actually, it was sunset and the colors lingered for a verrrryyyy long time. This was at 19:09 and oh so colorfilled. This is the backgate at work, Adelup.
So, the 2015 Super Sentai series in Japan is supposedly ninja themed.
I guess one wouldn't actually be able to tell from the DX Shurikenjin, other than maybe the main center component Shinobimaru.
I personally thought the set was neat, with a return to a chest swapping gimmick a la Magiranger.
Much like Magirangers' Magiking, Shurikenjin has a secondary dragon mode... Magidragon looked a lot cooler, though.
Actually not that easy to take good pictures from them...
Baby lambs playing in "savage paradise"
Actually, I'm asking myself where is Heidi ;-))) ?
The origins of the fair related to St Giles' Church at the north end of St Giles' This was originally completed in 1120, but the church was not actually consecrated until 1200, by St Hugh of Lincoln, a Carthusian monk and bishop. As part of the commemoration of the consecration, St Giles' Fair was established. The fair continues to this day, nowadays as a funfair, held on the Monday and Tuesday after the Sunday following 1 September, which is St Giles' Day.Autumn 2012
Actually it is between rains. It rained just about every thirty minutes for the whole week we were there....GRRRRRRRRRRR....but how beautiful.
The screw that holds the bottom rudder fairing on that I feared would interfere with the strain relief mechanism on the electrical connetor, doesn't. So only the two aft-most screws need to be shortened.

Something useful has actually come out of Scientology's smear-videos against Ron Miscavige: proof of just what a rotten liar his son is. For years David Miscavige has claimed that he is purely the "ecclesiastical leader" of the Church of Scientology as "Chairman of the Board" (COB) of its "Religious Technology Centre" and has nothing to do with its day-to-day management, even making a sworn deposition to that effect for a 1994 court-case. Now in his latest razor-sharp dissection of Scientology at tonyortega.org, Jeff Augustine points out this hardly accords with the propaganda image presented in the anti-Ron videos—not a sparrow falls off a Scientology tree, but COB knows of it. The videos contain gushing testimony to DM's concern with the smallest details of Sea Org and staff life, right down to laundry facilities, drains and even visionary kitchen-design, as attested to by one Jennifer Alpers, seen here discovering that little Davy's not quite the altruist he boasts of being...
Actually, these were two males that were competing and at this moment they were stomping their feet at one another
I trimmed her hair a bit...it doesn't look that drastic but you should've seen how much hair came off! This is only a bandaid fix until I can afford to get her rerooted. At least I like the cut better than before, although it's far from perfect.
With her new hairdo you can see more of her face...I actually like her a lot more now that I can actually see her. I still prefer Liccas but I am considering getting another Jenny and maybe a friend or two of hers eventually. Abel is really cute.
Actually waiting for the next treat. Heidi is just to his right waiting for the same thing.
Explore/Interestingness #491
actually he is eating some food he took right from a gentlemans' hand. The animals around this park in Brighton, seemed rather tame and unafraid of humans.
Actually managed to grab a few extra pics of 3 of my resin girls:
Marion, Rose, and the yet un-named Rosemii (Peakswoods).
I realized tonight that I've been spending wayyy too much time on my 365, Flickr, and the Internet in general. It really showed in the fucking 78 percent I got on my Chemistry test today. (Excuse my language). But I'm really into my 365 now, and I don't want to give up.
*Sigh*. I need to learn to balance stuff better and to actually get my homework done at school.
Just a few days ago, this was a big, pink, gorgeous tulip. Now, it's just a wilting stalk. When you think about it, that's how life is for everything. It might sound depressing, but it's not. It's just...nature. So I thought the song Live Like We're Dying by Kris Allen fit this perfectly.
I liked this picture because of the bokeh and the spiderweb thread that you can see if you look closely. (:
