am wondering now if Potternewton Heights is actually in Chapel Allerton - how very MAN U should it prove to be true!!

Actually, it's really more of a trickle at the moment, but you can sort of see how far down the river is (about 20 metres) and the approach-way for the bridge is elevated for about 100m so it's very flood prone :}

Actually it's a model in the observation deck of a high-rise.

Actually, never look directly into the sun! Your mom is right! :)

Actually a very dark metallic green.

Also known as Blister beetles due to their toxic secretions. Love grass to eat

Actually, it's just an Alaska Air jetway in Portland, but this was the weather we returned to just a day after the warm beach scenes in southern California previously. Sure made it feel like Alaska.

Actually two power stations. Dungeness A began generating power in 1965 and 18 years later Dungeness B opened. The first power station was decomissioned in 2006 however there are possible plans to create a Dungeness C power station.

Actually you might get more than a pint!!

Actually the hillside overlooking Ireleth, the block colours caught my eye.

Actually, Eastern Chipmunk. There were 2 so they must have a burrow somewhere closeby.

The stone that we used here is actually what we got when preparing the yellow Kota (limestone from Rajasthan) for the flooring. These were bits that chipped off in neat layers while preparing the stone and were thin enough to be used for 'tiling'.

The courtyard wall here stays damp thanks to the neighbour's wet wall and we were wary of seeing the damp patches again....so we used the waste stone for cladding!

That was all that there was of it - none left to replace the white tiles in the corner. The band of orange tiles will happen later. Much later. Like next year. I just want it to be OVER!

Went ahead and added the stone shelves - the last of the bigger pieces. So we ordered well! The plastered surface is to receive paint soon - cinnamon I am thinking...

actually scratch that, it is actually about the same as the other picture LOL, i might delete it.. but anyway she still needs a gaze correction.. i STILL have not opened her head yet. i managed to do all the customizing so far to her without opening it cause i'm so lazy! haha

Actually, this should be "during," not after, because she is still gaining weight. You can see that she is rounder and has a little tummy. Also, her spine isn't so noticeable now.

These Tufa were actually formed underwater. Their ages range from about 300 to 13,000 years old. They were formed as underground fresh water, carrying calcium, seeped up through the lake bottom and combined with the carbonate lake water. The product of this combination was limestone. As the lake level has declined over the years, the Tufa have become exposed to air at which point they stopped growing. Though fascinating to look at, Tufa are delicate. Please be careful and respectful of the area so that future visitors may enjoy this fascinating product of Nature, too.

Enjoy!

Actually lovely people. Who happened to be playing Cards Against Humanity.

Actually, just a telephone pole.

This is actually the most highly photoshopped image I've ever put on the internet...

As a budding photojournalist I avoid anything other than adjusting brightness, contrast and a bit of burning and dodging in my images.

This photo, however, had two other people in that I removed because they ruined the effect of having a lady standing in the rain with an umbrella infront of a sunny mural.

One was standing just behind the lady to our right, you can see where there is some ghosting left behind that I was unable to completely eliminate. Luckily, the background being Tarpaulin, I could totally get away with that being a wind ripple.....

The other man was on the left of the image, standing where the two clouds on the bottom are. He took up a good quarter of the image. Luckily I took several shots in the same position so I was able to clone bits from other images where he wasn't in the way on-top of him in this image... I'm a genius me.

Some day, when I'm a famous photo-journalist, this image is going to come back to haunt me and everyone will doubt my integrity as a 'true' journalist. This will be to me what cannabis is to government officials.

And yes, I do understand the irony in me spending 15 minutes changing an image so that you wouldn't know and then telling you about the changes, but the fact is, I'm actually quite impressed I did it so well for a first try..... This is all me boasting.

Well, I may have used excessive amounts of the healing brush and the clone tool; but I swear, I never inhaled.

Actually it's not going to attack anyone as it is a trainer, but it is pretending to and it looks good flying over the battlefield.

Nikon D300 + 18-200mm.

Well cropped.

Actually this is taken in Peru. These two ladies are watching a parade that is taking place to the left. The large pom pom attached to her shawl informs everyone that she is single. (A smaller one would mean she is married.)

This is actually from a couple of nights ago when we were going to sinner in Mill Valley after a small commemoration of Chris Raker’s service to the city of Mill Valley. Mack wanted to put on all his nice clothes, so he’s sporting some cowboy boot he got from my mom, jeans, a button up shirt, and then a fedora of mine. So styling. .

It was a busy day! Doobie took Lulu and Gaby to a beach volleyball tournament in Santa Cruz and Mack had swim camp and the. A play date. Everyone was pooped tonight. Early tuck in for everyone but me.
