2. Four Wallpaper* City Guides (Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Tokyo)
3. Two moleskines notebook (one for the husband)

Actually took this from the Canadian Highway just South of Duncan today the 23rd of December 2015, this is a bit closer from last shot. This was the same image I printed and put on cards for everyone here around here. So wishing you also a Christmas that has the voice of the hills and a New Years that catches the essence of first Light! Much love to all, Peace, and Harmony. Francis Dove
Actually one cat and a photo-reversed image. But since cat hair colour is genetic, how does one cat manage to show such diversity? From the New Scientist.
Actually, these are Asmodeus' turrets, but who's counting. Modified from the originals for sure, as I used a 2x2 facet brick that wasn't available back then.
Actually took this at the end of July, after the 7th or so day of band camp (hence the wicked tan and shiny face), when I came home to find that this beauty, the Diana F+, had arrived in the mail. I also bought a couple lenses for it, and a splitzer...will be using it for independent study in the fall.
Actually just a very darkened copy of the snapshot below. I only had second to catch these two at their game.
Actually, yes, I can see the forest through the trees.

We all love a good ghost story, but what if the ghost story is happening to you? Suddenly, it’s a little less desireable.
Just ask Adam Ellis, a Twitter user who is ~pretty sure~ he’s being haunted by the ghost of a boy named David. He started a Twitter thread to prove... - #Stories

I know, I couldn't believe it either.
It's not his personal account (@jkottke), but the 'work' account of kottke.org, which just got @kottke as its Twitter handle. Now, all Kottke needs is a verified button.

Wonderfully talented guy playing in the Underground, London. Did the most gorgeous rendition of "Little Wing." I couldn't believe that this guy was covering his ears. Busker says he's seen it before.
...And in a flash I grew small!?
The time has come to say bye-bye
To this monogrammed world
It's a platonic force,

Heian Jingu is actually a more modern shrine--built in 1895 for the 1100th anniversary of Heian-kyo (the former capital of Japan was Kyoto, and the word "Heian" refers to this time period and style). The grounds of Heian Jingu are actually a replica of the Imperial Palace. It also boasts the largest torii (Shinto gate) in Japan. You may even be familiar with this location as the main setting for the film Onmyoji, and a focal location in Big Bird in Japan.
Heian Jingu. Sakyo-ku, Kyoto.
