This was certainly one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen. It was rather hard to capture, but after switching to Manual and fiddling with the aperture and shutter speed I managed to produce some decent shots.

My father was the only child born to his parents, although he did have two half brothers. This may be the only exsisting picture of my father with his parents as a child. It was taken at their home in the Bronx.
Actually this is taken from a kite lofted camera in Hawaii. The black "mouth" beneath the "beak" is the entrance to a lava tube with the sea to the bottom of the picture Taken in Honokalani Black Sand Beach is located in the Wainapanapa State Park.

River Kameng is what you will find all over Arunachal Pradesh as you travell from one town to another. There are numerous bridges built over the river, some of which are actually built by Tibetans at the time when these area's where part of Tibet.

Actually guacamole may be a product of the Guaca bird. A colorful species who commonly use statues for .....? P.S. I happen to know that guacamole is made with avacado. The avacado tree has gender. It requires the male and female tree to cross pollinate or neither will produce. Many plants need cross pollinization. So...If anyone is allergic to bee stings, tuff shit. Let's keep the bees.

Killary Harbour, which forms part of the boundary between Counties Mayo (to the east) and Galway on Ireland's northwest coast, is usually described as "Ireland's only fjord." There is some doubt, though, that this long, steep inlet of the North Atlantic was actually carved by glacial activity. No matter; it is beautiful.

I actually met Jeff at a family fundraiser event in Cape Coral selling cigars for Rocky Patel with Kevin Robbins, who later offered me a job as the staff photographer of the "World Famous" Cigar Bar. Needless to say, from our love of cigars and the cigar industry, there was no doubt in Jeff and Jen's mind that I would be the one to photograph their upcoming wedding.
These two are not just clients but good friends of mine. They are soooo cute together and I wish them so much happiness for their future together. They will be married 12-11-10, I can't wait.

Actually I wanted to go to the river main for taking some pictures of the sunset... however as I was passing the Vodafone building which I wanted to photograph anyhow I stopped and decided for taking those pictures first. It was so hot on sunday you actually didn't want to go out but returning and watching the results I was happy I did not... regards and have a nice week everyone (more is coming up, sorry but I haven't got to much time for postprocessing, posting and Flickring... I'll do my very best)
This is a photograph from the 2nd Annual Rock 'n' Roll Dublin Half Marathon which was held in Dublin, Ireland on Monday 4th August 2014 at 08:30. The Rock 'n' Roll Dublin Half Marathon also incorporated the Athletics Association of Ireland (AAI) National Half Marathon Championships which was open to all eligible runners registered with an AAI affiliated athletics club. The race started in Dublin City center at North Wall Quay and Castleforbes Road on the Liffey. The route then went West out of the city bringing runners along the famous South Quays to Inchicore and then taking a slight northerly direction into the Phoenix Park. The race finished in the Phoenix Park with runners following over half of the course within the grounds of the famous park. Over 7,000 people took part. The Rock 'n' Roll Marathon series is one of the largest running series in the world with events primarily taking place in North American Cities. However, recently the franchise has spread to Europe. One of the unique aspects of the race is that every course features live bands along the course along with cheering teams of supporters at water stations. In the Phoenix Park today there was a large entertainment area at the Finish line for competitors, families and friends to enjoy.

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. This handsome young man actually turned out to be a nephew of a friend so I hope this doesn't disqualify him...
Jamal is a photography and videography student (1 of 2 photography students that evening - the 2nd on the way), like me he's a Bristol native and also went up Cabot tower to try and catch some images of the Balloon Fiesta.
What attracted me to him as a subject was his great hair and as someone who's sported an afro and flat-top in the past I can appreciate the hard work :-).
I struggled with the Fuji's 35MM to get critical focus or even the right exposure in this shot as the previous night I had adjusted it's settings to take some candids with an non-native lens - more on this on the next image...
Actually, she "decked" herself. I pulled the garland out of a storage box and left it in a heap on the couch. Then I went to the basement for another load of stuff. When I returned here was Natasha. I'm not sure how she got it around her neck so nicely, but she got bored with it and extricated herself as soon as I'd taken the picture.

This here is a picture I actually took around Christmas time up at my Aunt's house. This is her goofy and lovable German Shepherd, Zack. He is a rescue dog that is a little over a year old. Not sure about exact months haha. I took this while my bf and I were playing fetch with him in the backyard. I got him to stay put for a second while I had the ball in my hand.
I was excited to get outside and take pictures of him that day because my bf had just given me my gift from him: a 50mm f/1.4!! So I loaded it onto my 5D Mark II and started snapping away :)
Also, I think for a while now I will only be posting pictures with watermarking on them because people have been stealing pictures from my bf and I through flickr and editing them and putting their own symbol on them and we don't appreciate it. So we are both doing this now. My flickr account is set to where you can NOT save them for a reason. I know majority of everyone here takes pictures and knows exactly what I am talking about. But there are people that just get on flickr to find pictures for something on their own website without consent.
