I can actually see surprisingly well! Everything just looked a little white and hazy. The Cyclops eye is made out of the plastic packaging for yardwork mask that I cut into and I shape and covered with white nylon tights. the first time I tried to make the I I used superglue, but even days later the superglue gave off fumes that made my eyes hurt. So I had to remake the entire eye using a low heat hot glue gun. The pupil and eyelashes are made out of felt.
My man Friday here, moded a watergun so it lights up when you pull the trigger!. He also a cool nozzle and spray-painted parts of a gun silver.
Actually it's a rather nice spot just outside Whippingham but somehow this morning, taking this picture through the windscreen as I drove into work, it all had the look of the morning after the bomb. Or maybe that's just what the approaching office does to my head.
Actually I think this was the diagnostic center. Very 1980s institutional, boring.

The shops underneath are actually the Louis Vuitton shop; I was walking back to the hotel and saw the ornate building and the traffic streaks added to the colour.
The image was taken right by the roadside, it was unable to go step any further back as there was a park wit a fence; so the distortion is probably too strong and the road signs on RHS are not exactly pretty; but if one does not experiment one does not learn

actually it was a photo of people's shadows, who are passing before a strong light. then some burn tool was used to give depth to the shadows.
Actually this is the shot I meant to post yesterday but time got away from me. Surprising how easily that happens - especially at this time of the year.

Actually this was Margo's Dad's cousin, So I think that makes her Margo's 1st cousin once removed. It was 1974 and she was a Miss America top ten (Number ten, to be precise)
The article reads:
Kathleen Beth Moore resigned her Miss Washington title because pageant officials complained she was overweight. Prior to the pageant, she lost 35 pounds running around Green Lake in Seattle every morning. She expressed disappointment that “so much emphasis is placed on the figure.” She also complained that pageant board was constantly checking up on her activities.
Funny how that sort of thing has been going on for a long time! I'm guessing that beauty pageant competitors are even skinnier now than they were in 1974.

My father was the only child born to his parents, although he did have two half brothers. This may be the only exsisting picture of my father with his parents as a child. It was taken at their home in the Bronx.
