Actually a several years old snapshot updated with iphone

High Key effort with floral background double exp for added softness to Snapseed for several vignettes.

Actually made as a gift for a good friend who hosted me for a week in his flat.

One SB600 on each side, shot at 1/4 power, triggered by Commander unit of the D200, bounced off big white paper sheets.

Actually 53 card pick up, since there is a joker. I bought these cards at a quilt show many years ago. Each design was made by different well known expert quilters. These have never been played with and never will.

Thanks for views, comments and favs :)

Actually, I sent the request to authorities of our city about this problem (absence drainage system on Moscow's roads), but authorities answered me, that the rain water flows by itself through the natural slope, and that's fine (such is prescribed by normative documents).

Я писала запрос в мэрию Москвы по поводу отсутствия дренажной системы на дорогах, но получила ответ, что вода сама стекает по естественным склонам, и это нормально (так предусмотрено нормативными документами).

Actually no! I took the image on the wrong exposure but I thought it looked quite good!

Happy Blue Monday! Actually, this was Saturday on Lac Saint-Louis. ;D

I rode La Betty along the riverbank on my usual route from Verdun to Dorval.... and just had to stop, of course, to take some photos along the way.

This is one of the sparkling water and sailboats that were out on Lac Saint-Louis on this absolutely perfect summer day... in September!

Come out to see with me ;D (I think you'll find it fab, big on black!)

From Wiki:

Lac Saint-Louis is a lake in extreme southwestern Quebec, Canada, adjoining the Island of Montreal at the confluence of the Saint Lawrence and Ottawa Rivers. One can actually see a line in the middle of the lake where the two different-coloured waters meet.

Photo details: Canon crappo 75 - 300 mm tele kit lens (I so want a 70-200 mm !!!)

Shot somewhat into the sun (to the right and fairly overhead) -- to get the bright blue and those flares! =D No real pp here, just brightened it a bit and tweaked the blue in Lightroom.

actually a summer dress, but it was on sale

Actually has tiny fish in beak... hardly worth the effort?

The Catedral de Toledo is actually one of the largest Cathedrals in Spain, just behind the massive Cathedral of Seville and one of the 10 largest in Europe. The exterior architecture is beautiful, but the inside is truly awe inspiring.

actually this Sandhill Crane (Grus canadensis) is picking out some small insects and fallen berries.

Note added on September 3: The photo was taken at the Reifel Bird Sanctuary near Vancouver. This is great place to observe and photograph birds.

...actually this is three years ago, but Tussi did about the same today. Memory photo from FB.

Taken on September 19th, 2013

Actually it was also a rainy day for the picture of the bridge right next to this one; but this one showed the wet road and planks more obviously.

The scene at the far end of this bridge shows a paint horse grazing. He is tiny in my photo, but I like paint horses, and I think it is cute that he is in the picture.

Population of nearby Dexter, Lane County, Oregon USA was 2,373

Actually it was hot chocolate. Taken using my macro lens whilst waiting for a flight from Astana airport in Kazakhstan. Somethings do travel well.

actually I think she was trying to peep into my hiding place to see what was going on. She kept flying around and landing on different perches like she was trying to figure me out.

Actually, one of the columns is hidden behind the second from the right. The tourist in the picture became my 7th. This is a tourist attraction 25 minutes away from Las Vegas that draw a lot of selfie seekers. It was 118F (47.7 C) outside when I snapped this image.

Actually, the Vincent Thomas Bridge with lots of editing! HSS!!

This was actually pretty hard for me to do - both in terms of lighting (used a single light bulb) and for some reason i find it much more comfortable to do face self portrait shots rather than show anything else. I'm not really sure why. I'm not shy and don't hate my body or anything. I have however noticed that it is far more likely to come across female 'flesh' on flickr than male (which i find far from an issue). So maybe it's not just me. I just think as a male it's important to avoid falling into that category of the 'creepy' man with pictures of himself that scare people off (me included). The boundary of which is pretty blurred depending on who you are, so most of us just stay well away. I don't know really. This is just me (hopefully not being 'creepy').

Side note; I will never get anywhere near that boundary.

1) It's weird

2) My dad is on here and mocks my face let alone if i ever got my butt out.

Thought for the day over.

Two of my friends are in the process of restoring their ancestral family home far up in the Kii Mountains. There used to be seven houses in the village, but all the others have fallen into ruin over the last few decades. This is the view across the valley.

I actually have some time to play with photos today that aren't of client sessions, so I've looked back through a few months worth....aackkk! SO many photos I haven't done anything with....or even looked at since uploading.

Took a whole bunch of shots of my anemones, and this one I added the Florabella texture "Attache" on 2 layers with different blending modes.

I kinda like this tall guy!

Newborn session tomorrow, so will check out streams tonight!

Actually listed as "Untitled" this large work by the German artist Anselm Kiefer is dated 1945.

"This work belongs to a series of images that Kiefer created by juxtaposing the dark fossilized forms of sunflowers with images of a naked man. For Kiefer, dead sunflowers with their heads packed with seeds are potent symbols of death and rebirth. Here, they are joined by a figure who resembles the artist but may be Robert Fludd, a sixteenth-century English occultist who believed that every plant in the world had its own equivalent star in the firmament. In this dramatic woodcut presentation, with its attendant nationalistic connotations, Kiefer suggests a link between the individual and the cosmos."

On view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 915.

Actually I like to arranged still life images, it have enjoyed moment at home:)

Thank you to share your idea:)

Actually, these California Poppies are in my personal front-yard poppy field. I just came home this morning after an early birdie walk (thus the long focal length and high ISO), and these were open but still in the shade. I love this light. If you didn't know, poppies wrap up tight in the late afternoon and open again around mid-morning. Pretty smart, huh.

The weather is getting hot and dry now, so they may continue to last for awhile but the freshness is already wearing down.

Actually, this was Stormy Stars, but I changed it to Mystic Stars and now Sparkling Stars:) Pictures and comments are in Pieceing 2012 Set 1. I had planned to put on a border in the dark gray floral focus fabric, but I felt that really took away from the design. I'm even going to make the binding in black to retain the look of radiating out from the center. I see that I've cut off some of the star points in the picture - but, more importantly, not in the quilt top :)

Actually, it is another fake photo, as she wasn't crying, or about to cry.

She was dancing and was deep in it.

actually, this is not a green poppy, but what was left after petals fell on the ground. it still looks interesting to my eyes.

Uploaded here so you can actually SEE the ice and soda pop sign without having to pee or through the haze of Instagram compression. This is of course another camera scanned negative.

The film is a bit of a unicorn in that it was only available for a couple of months and quickly sold out. It came from the old Film Ferrania plant in Italy before production was shut down. Someone had the presence of mind to store the mother rolls of film instead of just letting them rot in a warehouse. Fast forward about eight years and the good folks at Lomography cut the film up, packaged it and offered it for sale in 35mm form in 2017, following up in 120 form in 2018.

If you’re interested in such things, I would highly recommend getting on Lomo’s mailing list. They do some really cool things but the limited production product tends to sell out rapidly.

Also if you’re interested in such things, they are as far as I know still trying to bring Film Ferrania back from the grave. As one of the original backers in 2014 I wish them luck, turns out manufacturing color photographic film is not a trivial task.

The exif data is going to swear this image was made with a Sony A7R3.

What I do is photograph the negative, or the positive as the case may be, and process it in Lightroom. Here is another pro tip: if you’re interested in doing something like this get yourself a copy of NLP. It transforms a difficult tedious process into one that is actually a lot of fun. Good stuff. #negativelabpro

Actually probably not the first as there were lots...we are posting a selection.

They are by Deodato Santos and the route goes by the name of “Passeio das Figuras”

If you want to find more shots on Flickr search for Deodato Santos.

...actually this is the old rock bridge over the moat

Actually this is the 475-111 from the Iron Monument Club from Pilsen. But during the last revision the smoke deflectores were removed and the locomotive became the new number 475-105. The 475-105 was the only locomotive without smoke deflectores, running like this a few month in the 50ties.Soon it will be renumbered back to 475-111 and get their old smoke deflectores back.

Actually, This may have been one of those Grocery Palace stores that did not have the red barn.

Actually now it is just "No Gas".

One of the old buildings in what used to be the Canadian Forces Base in Winnipeg known as the Kapyong Barracks. The base closed in 2004 but there have been court challenges as to who the land should go to and what it should be used for. So the buildings and land remain with no purpose.

Actually is honey, from a nieces bridal shower my wife attended on Sunday.

Actually, it wasn't that far as there was a Yoga group, various dog walkers and their dogs and other miscellaneous early morning Sun worshippers who like M, Debbie and I were disappointed to find the Sun hadn't yet come out to play. Ms Dolittle did not wear a cute and modest skirted swimsuit like me!!!!

Mount Tolmie is one of my favorite places to watch the world go by, and this is the best shot that I've ever got up there. I think the fall colors really make the photo pop.

Actually more like screeching than singing. The hawks have been very vocal in the early mornings. Sitting on their perches, a few trees apart, just screaming at one another.

Actually, pumkins are berries, I learned at the

Pumpkins exhibition at Göteborg's botanical garden

Actually, there are more than just these three photos for the weekly challenge "My Favorite Things."

There’s a story behind them, but I’ll keep it short.

Very few people enjoy waking up early in the morning, especially when they are warm and comfortable in bed. Looking out the window, it's cold, stormy, and raining—hardly inviting.

But then, there are those rare moments when everything aligns perfectly—the weather, the timing, the light. That’s when I jump out of bed, head to the living room, grab my camera and tripod, maybe even a second prime lens, and get ready for a long trip.

Well, not really that long. I just open the balcony door, set up everything, take a few photos, then head back inside to enjoy some fresh coffee, take a shower, and start my day.

This is one of my favorite things in the morning—waking up, jumping out of bed, and capturing beautiful moments. And the best part? Every day is a little different.

Actually it is a cattle track, not a constructed trail. With some wild animal prints.

Actually, the Beach Club beach, with a view across Crescent Lake toward Disney's Boardwalk Resort area. Best viewed in Large or Original Size.

Actually this guy is begging for a scrap from a fish vendor at the Port San Luis Pier. He was standing on top of the refrigeration unit for this outdoor seafood vendor hoping someone would toss him a scrap. He didn't care about the people and just kept looking at us waiting to see if he could get lucky.

Actually, this is my first order for Lego (or Lego stuff) other than from Lego.com.

I ordered 4 M1 helmets, a G36 (cause i love it), an M4, a PSG1, 4 M67 grenades, a World War Weapons Pack (for my History class), and my free weapon was a silver AK. Brickarms rocks!
