Almost any figure you can think of - this man sells! Star Wars, Star Trek, Scooby Doo, Dr Who, WWF Wrestlers, Power Rangers, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, Lego, Masters of the Universe, Ben10, Trolls, Halo, Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Diecast Toys and Aircraft, Flash Gordon, Simpsons - well you get the picture. The guy that runs the stall is a fan as well as a retailer and knows his figures inside out. Most start at only £1 or less. A real 'find' of place if you are missing that one figure or vintage toy that might complete your collection.
The stall opens on market days - Tuesday, Friday and Saturday (and some Wednesdays too).
I came across this old Action Force diver in a charity shop. He's not in great shape but he still looks fab!
One of the strangest choices for a Tiger Force figure in my opinion. But just that makes him cool in a weird way.
So, i've been wanting to re-master this original comic strip for sometime, and now I've finally started the mammoth task (Big thanks to Dave, for undertaking the script editing and proof reading, couldn't do it without you buddy).
So now, six years after it was originally posted, sit back and re-live the old BAMComix classic...

I will update more chapters slowly, but for now chapter one is ready to read.
This scene depicts a Vietnam era Skyraider pilot and his crew chief inspecting the tail of their aircraft.
Figures and uniforms are Hasbro 40th Anniversary GI Joe, except for the gold helmet. The helmet is from the Timeless Talking fIghter pilot.
For BlondeActionMan's Tag Game: Rescue Team photo challenge:
Your mission, should you choose to accept it: one of your guys (or girls) has been kidnapped by an opposing HQ. Your Commander must select three of the best soldiers or agents (any make of figure can be used) to mount a rescue! Each one must have some skill that will be essential to the team to aide in this mission. Your team must be kitted out and they must have a vehicle to make a fast getaway! Your team may use any mode of transport.
Now let's see those teams!
While the UK just had Action Man's blue or white jumpered Adventurers over in Spain things got a little more colourful in their Geyperman range. These are my customised up versions of their yellow and red jumpered Adventurers
A 12" custom inspired by Shindana Toys' 'Slade' figure of the 1970's. Based on a Cotswolds Collectibles Mike head with flocking by the aptly named Flocktastic (4mm hair, 2mm sideburns & 'tache). Tried to keep the costume pretty simple and as 70's toys-like as my parts box would allow.

This chapter introduces Mr.P.
Vintage Action Man - Soldier
Sold on eBay a few years back on behalf of a friend who had quite a collection of 60's and 70's Action Man figures and accessories.

This was an idea I liked a lot at the time. The Man in the middle of a firestorm, how cool is that? I was a bit busy and I tried to do this in a hurry, that's never good. I constructed a torch for the flames (butane lighter gas, very dangerous!) and arranged the setup outside against some trees. I thought this would be a snap. Well, of course, it wasn't.
The day was windy and the torch was really unpredictable. I had to have the fire close behind the Man because of narrow-ish dof, and that partially caused a disaster when a sudden gush of wind blew the flame to an unexpected direction. In the right column, middle frame, you can actually see the unfortunate moment when I burned the kid's toy. A devastating moment it was, but I was able to replace the damaged items without the kid ever knowing what had happened. (Hooray for Eagle Eyes Action Station!)
I was also disappointed by the fact that a 1/4000 sec shutterspeed isn't fast enough to capture fire the way I had hoped it would. Nothing I can do about that with my present gear.
Shucks! I would like to return to this idea somehow on some windless day with a faster camera.
Here is the set-up for the AP Hangar photo that I made earlier this week. (as seen here: www.flickr.com/photos/cerebralpizza/24979951456/in/photos...)
An old printer box and some panels from junk PC's make the hangar. A Max Steel MX25 Jet raised up on boxes, and 2 40th Joes complete the set.
Simple, but I found it effective.
