Unlike his silent counterpart this Space Ranger captain actually came with a gun... though with those gloves he can't hold it! How were the Space Rangers meant to defend themselves against Zargon? Not that his Space Pirates could hold their pistols either...

Ghostrider receives his orders for a new mission...

For BlondeActionMan's Tag Game: Rescue Team photo challenge:

Your mission, should you choose to accept it: one of your guys (or girls) has been kidnapped by an opposing HQ. Your Commander must select three of the best soldiers or agents (any make of figure can be used) to mount a rescue! Each one must have some skill that will be essential to the team to aide in this mission. Your team must be kitted out and they must have a vehicle to make a fast getaway! Your team may use any mode of transport.

Now let's see those teams!

Don't listen to him, Sindy girl! Poppa Joe is up to no good and he knows what he's doing!

Well, as long as she doesn't look him in the eyes, she can get off the hook XD

... The Tree is a one year collaborative project, alternating weekly between Russell Higgs and cAt Monstersmith.

The Tree was initially believed to be a Tree Of Heaven, but is since identified as Robinia Pseudoacacia, commonly known as the Black Locust, and is situated @ Hackney City Farm.

The start day for the project was Tuesday 20 Nov 2012.

Ooh yeah, ooh yeah

Ooh yeah, ooh yeah

It's been a long time, been a long time

Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time!

Joe: Geez, this light is taking forever! (singing again) "Rock me like a hurr-i-caaaaaane!"

Nikki: JOE! HEY JOE! HI, JOE!

Joe: Huh?

40th. Action Man with Paratrooper helmet and a 1/6 scale WW2 jacket.

Custom/ diy British soldier, Zulu wars period. The body and uniform is a vintage Action Man, the head a bootleg of some kind modded with green stuff. The helmet is also diy. Came out pretty neat imo :)

I've recently been upgrading older comics, and I came across this little gem from way back! Dave and I re-masterd it and I wanted to share it with you guys, Enjoy!

Building on garymenten's original idea!

Made a custom punker from a vintage Action Man with a Cotswold head. Clothes are modded with green stuff and enamel paint. Ripped the hair from some doll and cut it into a mowhawk. I think he turned out pretty rad :D

There are two main bad guy groups at BAM HQ. In charge of one of these factions is Dr X, an evil underhand criminal genius. He holds a genuine dislike to Action Man, but he truly dispise's his criminal rival, the accursed, Mr Redbox!

An officer and a gentleman. 40th Anniversary figure & repro uniform, original cap. Reflocked by the good folk at Flocktastic.

This is the timeless collection Spy Island GI Joe from the early 2000's. He's dressed up in the uniform from the Then & Now soldier collection...with a few mods. I've taken a spare arctic backpack, and soaked it in strong tea for a few days to turn it tan. (I added a little bit of green food coloring to it as well.) Also added some netting from the Timeless collection Green Beret figure.

Photographed with a Nikon D3100 and an 85mm f1.8 lens. It's taken me a while to get used to the narrow depth of field that this lens has at f1.8, but it fades out my backyard quite nicely once I get the focus right!

Made my favourite version of Zartan in 12 inch! He came out pretty cool. Thinking about giving him a back patch with the old style Dreadnok logo. What do you guys think?

Action Team/G.I. Joe: 1970 Hasbro Catalog (Germany) 16of22

From day one, the other Bionic Man ripoffs knew there was something different about him.

Found my son's Action Man Humvee, so did a few pics with Jake at the wheel!

Breathing in the fresh air of the Glens, my custom Highland Adventurer is a mix of 40th Anniversary Action Man parts and a Flocktasic re-flocked head.

A more vibrant scan of a rather faded, drab custom box

Blonde repro Action Man in repro Geyper Man clothes with Cotswold boots and shoulder holster.

Repaired this awesome 70's action figure to it's former glory. It was sold to me as an Action Star figure from Zapf. This compagny (besides all the baby born stuff and that) made Action Man/ Gi.joe type figures in the 70's in Germany before Schildkrot got the rights to Joe stuff. But after some more exploration on the net and trusting my own intuition rather than the seller's, I think this is a Zodiac Tommy Gunn figure. Either way, it's a great addition to the collection :)
