This scene depicts a Vietnam era Skyraider pilot and his crew chief.

Figures and uniforms are Hasbro 40th Anniversary GI Joe, except for the gold helmet. The helmet is from the Timeless Talking FIghter pilot.

The valiant Commander Field demonstrates the way to fend off an Intruder's bear hug attack. What a dangerous foe!

Though actually... early 80's... I guess back then if a British bloke like Action Man was hugged by another fellow (let alone a scantily-armoured chap like the Intruder) he might well die of acute embarrassment! Perhaps the Intruder's were a major threat after all... though these days we'd just send in Torchwood's Capt. Jack Harkness - he'd hug back!

Watched the movie yesterday, and wanted to do a pic with my vintage Action Man set.

Back garden snap taken with a Kodak Instamatic 200.

I cannot say enough, how good this kit is!

"Oooh, It looks so cuddly!" beams Teresa as she catches sight of the seven foot tall Wookie.

"Cuddly!" remarked Joe, "I can see Uncle Bob having his hands full there! I heard it's not wise to upset a Wookie".

The bar staff looked shocked as Gangrene catches a jaw rattler from Sonja after an inappropriate question!

some more custom gonnabees fresh from Evilbay :D

I'll leave the caption in the care of your imagination...

Made a custom viking from a vintage Action Man with some bits and bobs. Modded the helmet, shield and axe with green stuff...

Lately I'm trying to make some WW1 customs with vintage Action Man stuff. Here's my first one: an early French infantry soldier. Looks pretty cool imo :)

My latest custom; a 12n inch motu Trap Jaw...He still can switch his gun and claws in this version :)

The Action Man headsculpt is actually really, really good. After all, it is over 40 years old by now, how many toys of that age share the same degree of likeness to the real world?

This is Harri the Man at his most dramatic.

For BlondeActionMan's Tag Game: Rescue Team photo challenge:

Your mission, should you choose to accept it: one of your guys (or girls) has been kidnapped by an opposing HQ. Your Commander must select three of the best soldiers or agents (any make of figure can be used) to mount a rescue! Each one must have some skill that will be essential to the team to aide in this mission. Your team must be kitted out and they must have a vehicle to make a fast getaway! Your team may use any mode of transport.

Now let's see those teams!

This is a vintage Hasbro Green Beret uniform (Pants and Jacket only) displayed on a Timeless Collection GI Joe. The boots, web-belt and scarf are from Cotswold/Elitebrigade. The M-16, Beret and Grenades are from the Timeless Collection "Green Beret Machine Gun Outpost" Set. His pistol and holster are from the GI Joe 40th Anniversary series.

The figure was placed in a fern covered area of my backyard, and photographed with a Nikon D3100 camera, using a 35mm f1.8 lens.

I've recently been upgrading older comics, and I came across this little gem from way back! Dave and I re-masterd it and I wanted to share it with you guys.

This is first appearance of Lord Conan J. Roxton. This short comic follows Lucas' arrival and his meeting with all the other adventurers. I have searched the forum for the original post but sadly couldn't find it. I did find the original pictures and part of the script, but to remaster this one, I had to rewrite some of it. I hope it doesn't dull the enjoyment of it

He's been to Tesco to buy space food...

Made a custom sci-fi space cop from a broken battery operated robot and a 12 inch Lanard fig.

Two USN pilots coordinate prior to a mission in the fall of 1960.

The GI Joes are both Timeless Collection figures. They are wearing a mix of Hasbro and Cotswold reproduction items. And...HEY! I just found my Action Man Dog Tag!!! (That needs to go back to Action man.)

I've been working on a small carrier deck 'set'. I'm quite pleased with these first results.

'Will you stop staring!' said Dax,

'I can't help it" replied J.J.. "Is it a yeti?' he continues.

'No!.. Jake said its a Wookie, and first mate to Captain Solo, of the Millennium Falcon. It's parked out in the car park!" answered Dax to his bewildered colleague.
