I spotted this tag game while looking through some of Sky's albums, and thought, hey, I wanna have a go at that too!

Okay, so not so much of a doll shelf, but units. So welcome to the organzed chaos which is (as my wife Louise calls it) BAMStudios!

If you see this please consider yourself tagged, and lets get this game going again!

A gunned down marine is dying in the arms of the medic who did his best to save him, but the head injury proved to be too severe.....

Fresh diy outfits I quickly put together with some of the new stuff. Some I'll keep this way, others will be modded or chanced again. For now I made a British officer, British paratrooper, the Scarlet Pimpernel, British soldier Zulu wars, 9th Cavalry officer, mountaineer, Navy attack, German officer, British soldier Falklands war, British soldier WW2, adventurer.

Vintage 1964 Gi.joe and vintage 1964/ 66 Barbie.

Much like the Talking Captain & the Zargonite Pirate, never knew of this costume set, from Action Man's last days, until the Internet! I think I'd sold my soul to the 3 3/4" universe by the time these hit the stores.

The Commando sported a cool dark visored helmet and had solved the problem of holding guns with those gloves by having a weapon which clipped onto them!

No Group Awards/Banners, thanks

Got the 2 Action Men on the right in the mail today. Already had the asso's for the Panzer Captain, but no uniform yet. Now I finally have this cool late 70's/ early 80's set almost complete :) In the box were some guns, a helmet and three knitted outfits. And what did I find on the internet, the cover of a vintage diy mag for knitting outfits for dolls with....: the excact same ones I have now! Lol :P The soldier one was included as well, but it had holes in it.

Except for three.

Two vintage Land Adventurers who need some beard fixin' and were feeling shy.

Also a clear GI Joe Club 40th Anniversary Joe.

What a hodge podge of hobbled together fellas.

I wouldn't have them any other way!

From my very first recorded diorama back in October 1999. The GI Joe Adventure Team is ready for action!

In the later part of the 60's, the USAF began to refer to their police force as the "Security Police".

I researched the web to see if I could create a SP officer using some Hasbro Shore Patrol items. Honestly, most of the SP helmets I found online were either Blue or Black. However, I did find one image of a white SP helmet. The caption with the helmet indicated that the airman had stopped wearing the white helment once he realized what a great target it made at night. Being that this is Vietnam era, that makes a LOT of sense!

So, a basic GI Joe soldier with a Shore Patrol helmet, Carbine and pistol now represents a SP officer from the late 60's. It's a very rare combination, mostly due to the white helmet.

Both figures are 40th anniversary Hasbro GI Joes. The SP helmet is a Cotswold reproduction of a Hasbro SP helmet.

Luke is the first to be transferred into modern military attire.

Made a custom of 'Ajax' from the movie/ game 'The Warriors'.

Now ol' Action Man can 'shove a bat up someone's @ss, and turn 'em into a popsickle' ;P

I found the *perfect* ActionMan-sized elf-hats from a Christmas market in Helsinki! ^3^ (Well... actually they were made for Barbies but I think ActionMen look cuter wearing them.)

my first ever brand new out of the box Action Man, way back in 77-78. Jake and I have been together for a long time! Before this, all my Action Man figures came from a second hand shop (Thrift store) my Dad knew of. Some of my happiest memories were of him coming in with two huge bin liners full of action man stuff, that my five year old self couldn't wait to open!

The amazing resemblance of Ken (especially the newer Fashionista Ken) to an urban twink is equally matched by the way in which Action Man embodies all the dour qualities of an old fashioned leather clone.

Body language, Body language

Let you move me 'til your secret's deep within

Body language, Body language

Let your body tell the story if you can

Move it, (come on and do the love dance)

Move your mighty mighty body baby

Oh shake it, (come on and do the love dance)

Shake your mighty mighty body baby

Here is a squad of Hasbro 40th anniversary edition Marine GI Joes. I call this group my "Mint Marines" due to the odd base color of the marine uniform. There appears to be 2 general shades of the 40th anniversary marine uniforms, an Olive Green version and a Mint Green version. The Mint colored uniform has always looked a little bit odd to me...but I like it a lot better when there is a whole group of marines wearing the Mint uniform.

So, I assembled these guys and took them out to the Jungle in my back yard for a short patrol. All items are Hasbro 40th Anniversary GI Joe, except the following: M1, Carbines and Grenade Launcher are Action Man 40th anniversary items. The Marine helmets and tan web belts are all from Cotswold/Elitebrigade.

Unfortunately, there was a casualty when this group deployed...the blonde marine blew-out his knee! That's the first time I've had an issue with a 40th Anniversary figure.

Tonight the Jerries will get a suprise they won't soon forget...

The reason I wasn't on Flickr this week: I moved the biggest bulk of my gi joe/ action man collection to my appartement last weekend, and spend the rest of the week sorting stuff out. Still have to pick up all my vehicles, but it's allready becoming a cool little 'museum' :D

This is one of several photos where I depict a USAF policeman as accurately as possible using only Hasbro parts.

Figures and all items are Hasbro's GI Joe 40th anniversary...except for the blue Navy Attack helmet...that's from Cotswold/Elitebrigade.

I been through a serious creative drought with the lego-building, and started as an assistant outfitter for a gang of actionmen instead. A friend of mine makes realistic models in sixthscale for her actionmen, and I help with knitted garments.

And...I’ve finally got some new ideas for MOCs!

All the nice girls love a sailor... though sailor Action Man hopes that these two aren't too nice ;) Whatever would the Sindy doll say he left behind in port?
