Drying leaflets, spore-side down; custom scan settings (Epson Perfection 3170 Photo using EpsonScan); corrected red line in post scan.
Taken with the Laowa 25mm f2.8, focused stacked with 17 images, processed in Capture One and Adobe Photoshop.

The swans at Bronte Marina were busy feeding, so I thought I'd take the shot with his head under water.
It gave it a bit of abstracted feel.

On the night of July 3, 2022 I sat in my daughters front yard that overlooks the city of Dubuque, Iowa. The fireworks are shot over the Mississippi River at quite a distance from where we were watching them being fired up into the night sky. I used many settings on my camera, sports, landscape, creative auto. etc. I got some amazing images that make many of the fireworks look abstract and not your usual fireworks display. Looking out on a cold day, captured this reflection in our pond before the light started to fade. It shows one of the old willow trees and the reflection of the building opposite, abstracted due to the ripples in the water.

The smoke is real (I used a purple smoke cone). There are no overlays.
