this bit of tile was extracted from a gigantic work titled "The Urban Portraits" created by 9th grade students of Gateway Charter High School in the fall of 2006.
Abstracted view of the front doorways and windows of Charlton Crescent, Charlton Place, Islington, London. These Georgian terraced houses were built during the 1790s by architect James Taylor.
Another abstracted architecture shot taken in downtown Calgary on an epic photographic journey back in February.
It sure has been a lot of fun making these abstracted reworkings of my photos!
Hope you guys like it, and that you have all had a great Tuesday so far!

Abstracted Male & Female Faces....stuck in my mind...perhaps the best place for them because they seem pretty normal to me
Big thanks for having a look at this one .......always appreciated .......best bigger ........hope you have a Fabtastic Day
A bit of abstracted Darter fun, just thought it was a bit different, I do so love their curious faces, I will miss these very much when they go, so I guess I should make the most of their company whilst I can, still got a month or two left. I still wonder what their visual perception of the world is like and how other senses come into play, I reckon it would be an interesting experience. I'm sure someone will suggest the 2 bottles of whisky Dragonfly simulator LOL :o)
Hope everyone has a great week :o)

Echoing Guernica in its composition, abstracted forms and political content, _The Charnel House_was inspired by newspaper war photographs, the tones of which are reflected in its somber black-and-white palette. The central jumble of figures—a murdered family sprawled beneath a dining table—might suggest the piles of corpses discovered in Nazi concentration camps upon their liberation. While Guernica, a commentary on the Spanish Civil War, may be seen as signaling the violent beginning of World War II, The Charnel House marks its horrific end.
Jpeg straight out of the camera, no post processing or suchlike.
Had an hour or so to spare whilst waiting to collect eldest daughter from her terrible pop-music thingy, so I went and checked out a tunnel I'd been tipped off on recently by GJ Baty. It's a good spot for light painting. I intend to go back with some coloured gels for the flash to try and bring out the detail in the background.

Getting a bit bored with the architectural images, so I thought I would just play around and manipulate some of them into more deconstructed, re-arranged abstracts, and see if anything interesting comes results.

HSS….This is purely serendipitous! My phone decided it was time to upgrade the operating system. There are definitely new things to learn - not the least of which is some tweaks to editing. This was the result of my first foray into saving some edits - well, I did make some further additions to brighten and perk it up. The original picture is next in the photostream.
