Still playing with the new app (Slow Shutter) for the Looking Close on Friday group’s theme of motion blur. Think I achieved this one by slowly bringing the iPhone’s camera out while the blades were spinning. Am getting a double exposure sort of look. Must try this in the daylight.
If I was going to choose for the posting, it would be either this one or painting blur8— let the dithering begin. This one is two kinds of motion- the fan blades and the pulling back of the camera.
Saw this image while we were dining at Mo's (a famous Oregon seafood restaurant) through the window across from where we were seated. I take my camera everywhere since you never know when magic will present itself;-). OM System OM-5, 80 - 150 lens

HAPPY TUESDAY'S TEXTURES !!
I just happened upon this early spring afternoon iight. It had found its way down a stairwell to an underground pedestrian passage at the end of my street. I don't know why the passage has a red floor, but it is a fine thing from a photographic standpoint.
The passage lets me and everyone else walk between our part of the village and the village center without crossing the tracks of the train line. BTW, it's a magic train line. Hop on a train there, and via connections, you can travel to anywhere in Europe. So, from my POV, the best train line in the world has a stop right at the end of my street!

under the high sun, concrete pillars stand like unresolved thoughts. the earth curves gently away, and the walkers — dwarfed by space, luminous with distance — move as if weightless. shadow listens in the corners, waiting for a story that only emptiness can tell.

beneath the bright expanse of glass, travelers move in silence, their mirrored selves etched into the floor below like shadows of another realm. in black and white, the moment becomes timeless, a meditation on waiting and becoming.

Taken on a morning with very heavy dew, and a spotlight of sunshine coming through the trees was on this dew covered curly kale leaf. The sunshine brought out a lot of surprising colours from the kale.

This is an abstract reality image--part of one leaf of a large, fan-leaf palm tree
(I don't know its botannical name,)
We have a mild microclimate here where I live. This is in spite of being
slightly farther north than Québec City, Canada. As a result, certain palm trees
are grown successfully here in sunny locations, sheltered from north winds,
