Beach erosion is a major problem. This snow fence is being used to catch the drifting & wind-blown sand, in an attempt at rebuilding the dunes.
Runoff flowing at the bottom of one of the mounds left this interesting pattern of colors and textures on the clayey mini-fan that surrounds it. A nice study in textures and patterns.
As my contacts know, I'm (or at least, that artistic part of my subconscious is) developing this thing for darker images, as in this abstract. The more I look at it in lightbox, the more I'm in absolute love with it.
To each his/her own.
