Glass by Sarah Bedwell of Flame Force Five, with clusters of Chrome Diopside, Peridot and freshwater pearls, Hill Tribe and sterling silver. Hallmarked.

Three acts, one picture!

Vintage fountains and glasses-- the one on the right is a portable version with fold-in spouts, perfect for a picnic.

A louched dose (shot) of the liquor Absinthe, between two of the plants from which it takes it's name, Artemisia Absinthium (more commonly known as Wormwood).

And yes, for the uninitiated, absinthe DOES turn milky when mixed with water; the reason being that it contains oils that are soluable in alcohol, but not in water.

Strobist: Cross-light shot. One White Lightning Ultra 1800 at about 1/30 power fired into a silver umbrella to above camera right. Opposite the WL is one Sunpak 611 at an unknown power level (the strobe malfunctioned, but I LOVED the glowing drink!) just visable at the top of the tripod in the background.

Bblessing owner and Surface 2 Air accessories designer, Daniel Jackson, has designed a limited release set of 3 new absinthe spoons available only at Bblessing in New York.

I picked up a set for Laura for Christmas this year.

While they lack some of the practical design features of the more common replica spoons made by French Man, these are some beautiful designs and have added visual flair to the collection.
