Vf Brassac-les-Mines

This is two pieces of ABS spun together on the Proxxon against a sheet of 100 grit sand paper until it would fit inside the 3" acrylic tube

This is how my abs look on a nice day.

That day was June 12, 1994.

Art Beads - Blue Seraphim Artisan Glass by Jennifer Jennings (USA): Ruffled Slider Glass Discs

Vintage Olivine Drops and Bronze Faceted Beads

Swarovski Crystals - bicone and rounds

KCoop Enamel Clasp

Dark Rust Irish waxed linen

Copper headpins

Shimmery size 8 seed beads (pale slate blue and amethyst)

When I saw the colors used by Marianne North to create this art piece (thank you for the palette, Brandi!), I knew I had to participate in the June Challenge! The colors are so rich and vibrant. I've have these lovely ruffled sliders from Jennifer Jennings in several colors in my stash for a while... 3 of the colors were just absolutely perfect and reminded me of the flowers in the art work..especially that single dark lavender flower! A few vintage olivine drops from beadsellergirl to create a lush leaf-like appearance/background, and the piece almost created itself from there! I am so pleased how this all came together..hope you like it, too! :)

The bracelet is about 7 and 1/2 inches in length and oh-so simple to put on/take off with that fabulous CKoop magnetic clasp (another goodie from my stash, begging to be added to this piece!)
