With more and more impressive graphics and game engines, we can find some real spooks and terrors waiting for us in game form. The play of light and shadows and fog is only the tip of what can add a deep suspense to a simple scene.

An image from a fantastic morning near to Elterwater, the sun had broken over the horizon and the mist was now beggining to be evaporated in its powerful glow.
This misty scene was changing very quickly with the low lying mist drifting quite fast to the left of the frame and now also being disrupted by the first sunlight of the day, the water still remaining perfectly calm this made for fantastic shooting conditions.

Looked up at the lobby atrium ceiling as soon as arrived at the hotel late at night during a business trip. I just imagine that checking in at the hotel after exhausting work slightly resembles return to Mother Earth from the space.

A telephoto shot taken from Hidden lake trail during an amazing sunrise filled with clouds and mist! A moment that redefined the word "atmospheric".
