The collapsible Leitz Elmar 2.8/50 is an old lens, vintage perhaps, and it is not particularly sharp wide-open (as here). It is perfectly able, however, to get "atmosphere" across. Leica M Mono 246.

Cette photo est un vertorama, c'est à dire un panorama vertical. Elle est composée de 3 clichés HDR.
Chaque cliché est lui même composé de 3 expositions (0ev; -2ev; +2ev) et réalisé avec Photomatix4.1.
J'ai utilisé un Canon EOS 50D couplé à un objectif Canon EF-S 10-22mm. Les photos ont été prises à main levée car je n'avais pas mon trépied avec moi.

Autumnal walk at the lake "Saint André".
This photo is a vertorama (a vertical panorama) of 3 HDR photos. Every HDR photo is composed from 3 exposures (-2ev; 0ev; +2ev) and tonemapped with Photomatix 4.1.
I used a Canon EOS 50D with a Canon EF-S 10-22mm lens. I did not have my tripod, so I took the photos freehand.

Even a walk through woods on a cool, drizzly, misty morning can feel very special.
Whatever I was focusing on here it wasn't any particular tree, or even photography in general but I did like something about this composition.......although I have no idea what.
Delicate Arch is a 16 m freestanding natural arch located in Arches National Park, near Moab in Grand County, Utah, United States.
The arch is the most widely recognized landmark in Arches National Park.
Because of its distinctive shape, the arch was known as "the Chaps" and "the Schoolmarm's Bloomers" by local cowboys.
Without a doubt, it is one of the most photographed arches of this great park and the sunsets are especially crowded by photographers and tourists from all over the world. This is really quite a spectacle of great beauty.

Delicate Arch es un arco natural independiente de 16 m ubicado en el Parque Nacional Arches, cerca de Moab, en el condado de Grand, Utah, Estados Unidos.
El arco es el hito más ampliamente reconocido en el Parque Nacional Arches.
Debido a su forma distintiva, el arco era conocido como "los Chaps" y "los Bloomers de Schoolmarm" por los vaqueros locales.
Sin duda, es uno de los arcos más fotografiados de este gran parque y las puestas de sol son especialmente concurridas por fotógrafos y turistas de todo el mundo.
El conjunto es realmente un espectaculo de gran belleza.

Baobab africano (Adansonia digitata).
Parlare del Tarangire vuol dire incontrare tanti elefanti, pensare a un fiume che attira innumerevoli animali, a un panorama caratterizzato da grossi Baobab dove gli elefanti affilano le loro zanne, a una grande varietà di uccelli, a una calma e autentica atmosfera di safari tipica di un percorso lontano dalle vie più frequentate.
Ma soprattutto, è il regno di elefanti e di giganteschi baobab!

Talking about Tarangire means meeting many elephants, thinking of a river that attracts countless animals, a landscape characterized by large Baobabs where elephants sharpen their tusks, a great variety of birds, a calm and authentic safari atmosphere typical of a journey far from the most frequented roads.
But above all, it is the kingdom of elephants and giant baobabs!

With more and more impressive graphics and game engines, we can find some real spooks and terrors waiting for us in game form. The play of light and shadows and fog is only the tip of what can add a deep suspense to a simple scene.
